The Baron is not in the story, but he is talked about.



There was a good story on Obi-wan for Xbox, Rogue Leader for Game Cube, and Battle Grounds for PC. I can't wait for those games!

That is sort of what worried me about the story then. Sounds a good start, the racist Chiss disliking the outsider. But its that middle bit. Pirates attack, and Jag saves the day. Not Jag is involved, not Jag plays a large part. Just him. A 14 year old beating Pirates?

 

There's also a nice feature on the Chiss in the Alien Anthology published by Wizards of the Coast which should be on book store shelves now. (As a matter of fact, I flipped through one in a B. Dalton yesterday).

 

The Solo kids were 14 in Young Jedi Knights, and they saved the day quite a bit.

 

And wasn't Wedge 16 when he slayed those pirates who blew up his parent's refuelling station?

EDIT: And Kyp was 16 when he helped get rid of the DS prototype in the JAT.

 

And Anakin Solo was a hero at age 11. Kids in the GFFA always perform heroic acts young. Get used to it.

 

So is Jagged Fel going to be in Dark Journey? (I'm so out of the loop since I avoid spoilers...)

I hope he is. I'd hate to see the potential of his character go to waste.

I never said you liked that - I was just using that as an example to show how a few of the characters have had young introductions and pulled off incredible feats.

 

I got my issue today, haven't read the story yet.

 

"Wedge 88. For both Issues #2 & #3 I had to call Wizards (the number in the gamer) to request my issues be sent to me."

I did that for #5. I called a week after it came to stores. They said they'd ship it to me, and I would get it in 2 weeks.

Then guess what? I got the issue the next day. And then 2 weeks later I got it again. YAY!

 

WotC web site still hasn't updated with the new issue. I may have to give in and subscribe. I just didn't know they were going to have much I'd care about.

I really can't wait to read this one. Maybe I should subscribe to the magazine.

I got my mag. I didn't mind Jag saving the day, I actually kinda liked his character. But the story made Thrawn out to be more super than ever. It's not enough that he fell from grace with the Chiss before rising in the Empire, it turns out that he actually engineered his fall from grace. Right.

It's always been my impression that Thrawn "did" engineer his fall from grace with the Chiss.

 

Got it today. Really liked the story, but it had like four or five typos. Sloppy editor.
