Rednose Day 17th march Travelling Man Newcastle

i know we had a list in the last thread but this is definative list of who is attending
1, nigel (costume)


don't worry if you don't have a costume, we need the important people who support the costumers, if we do the photos with the public we need a couple of things
1, half decent camera that uses sd, cf, ms, sm or xd cards for use with my portable printer
2, full size tripod
if we just use the collection tins then
3, we should all chip in and buy some RND t-shirts for support staff (it all goes to a good cause)

i know RND is on friday but the saturday would give use more chance to get money out of the public

if there are any other suggestions the more the merrier

say thanks to the 2 'flyboys' for me jase, if anyone has the soundtrack albums(showing my age....what am i talking about has anyone got the soundtracks) please bring along a burnt copy of them (don't want to ruin the originals)

well that depends if we take over the basement, although travelling man is quite big a couple of us at the front few in the middle and up the back, of course there will be

i really would like the other spike to attend i have pmed him buck he hasn't answered

shall i pick up 2 RND t-shirts? if so what sizes? people can square up with me on the day (its only £2.50 from each person),if so could the support staff pm me with thier sizes please

 

I have Episode I, II, IV, V & VI soundtracks if you want me to bring them...?
I still haven't got round to getting Ep III...(tut tut)

hi all
just got back from newcastle, had a chat with jamie (manager of travelling man), to thrash out a few things
we will be using the back end of the shop (if you know TM then the back end is big) there is a fire door which leads straight outside (to cool down) here is a photo

thats jamie in the pic (using him for scale) he said that using the back of the shop would be better than the basement (too cut off from the shop), there is a photographer who works in the shop and jamie said that he will provide his services on the day to take the photos using his kit and my portable printer, travelling man are going to pay for the paper (100 6x4's) and printer cartridge for the printer £18 at the moment as stationary box are closing down

the basement is being used at the moment as a staff rest area here is a pic

jamie said that we can use that as a changing and storage area, there also is a kitchen and a loo too
jamie said he would contact tyne tees television to try and get someone down to cover it.
he also doesn't mind about the star wars soundtracks all day long

if anything else comes to mind then i'll post it

I don't spend much time in Newcastle City Centre. When I do, it's either at Eldon Square, or it's a night time and I'm half-cut

is every one who is attending ok about chipping in for the t-shirts? its only £2.50 each travelling man are paying for the paper and cartridge

i was also thinking about a back drop for the photos if anyone has any thoughts please share them
