Regarding Amazon.com

    I was just wondering if there is an Amazon.com.au, an Amazon branch in Australia?

    I wish to order the Galactic Battlegrounds game, but Amazon is unable to ship such products. Possibly because American and Australian software differ in specs, like how US and Aust Nintendos are different?

    A second question: does anyone in Sydney know a store that sells Remnant and Galactic Battlegrounds?

    did you get online at amazon.com to get this info? Personally I dislike amazon and would much rather order my books from bandn.com but I am sure that amazon has the info someplace. Hope that helps. :D

    I don't think there's a Austrilian Amazon site. What about the United Kingdom one? Have you tried that? Would that help? ?[face_plain]

    I got a reply from Amazon: apparently they don't have an Aust branch.

    The fools! 19m people isn't enough consumers for them? Or perhaps clever . . . all that international freight fees . . .

    Does anyone know Amazon won't deliver the Galactic Battlegrounds game to Australia? No reason is stated, and I really want it!

    Excellence: Forget Amazon, they're a bunch of slow-posting dead beats ;)

    For Galactic Battlegrounds, it depends which platform you want it for.

    PC: Any Electronics Boutique should stock it, they're in most of the bigger shooping centres like Westfields all over Sydney

    Mac: I scored my copy from a place called Try and Byte in Artarmon, they're online and they're a little tricky to get to. Otherwise the majority of Applecentres should have it by now.

    For Remnant, I'd suggest you chase up a little store on Clarence ST in the CIty called Galaxy, best sci-fi and pop culture place in Sydney. It's about half a block up from Town Hall station.
