Regarding VII, VIII and IX...

    Apologies, I'm sure variances of this thread exist all over the place, but I'm just looking for a quick reminder.

    I've always accepted the idea that the saga was originally 9 parts (although I think I've also heard Lucas say 12, which makes more sense than 9 in some ways), but I don't remember where Lucas has said this. All I can remember properly is the quote used in the current TFN news story, where George talks about the saga as 6 episodes.

    So which is it - when he originally thought out the saga - 6, 9, or 12?

    This forum is for the in-depth discussion of the existing saga. I think this topic is more suited for Community.

    I think it was orignally 12.
    Then 9.
    And now 6.
