I want to play my Region 1 'Ewoks:Caravan of Courage' and 'Droids-Cartoon' DVDs my cousin was saint enough to gift me for Christmas - problem is I only have an Xbox.
I heard that Region X - the multi-regioniser for Playstation 2 - was once out for the Xbox. Can anyone verify this? If it is out, could anyone tell me where I might buy this in and around Glasgow?

Yes, it was previously available for the X-Box. I did a search at PLAY.COM and found it on their catalogue, but not currently available.

Perhaps it doesn't work on the most recent chip variations of the x-box.

Remember though, you'll need an NSTC playback capable TV to watch the DVDs (unless you want to see them in B&W).

It says it costs about £20, and to be honest, for a few quid more you could buy a bottom of the range DVD player (eg cat number 533/4049 from argos for £29.99) and use a code from videohelp.com to make it region free.
