OK darnit, I want an actual list of everyone that has the PC version of JO and can play multi. I would like to schedule a certain night a week that we get together and play. Fluke and I have been playing here and there along with Jaster. It's quite fun.

    The list:

    Rox
    Fluke
    Jaster

    Greetings, blokes.

I own the game, and can technically play online (though it's over a shoddy 56k connection). Unfortunately, I can't really stay up real late anymore (since I'm holding down two jobs), but if you set a regular time, I'm sure I could probably eventually make one of them.

    I typically play as "Ethus."

    Snick snick... awwwwwwww, jediiiiiii!,

What night would be good for everyone? Saturday nights are probably best for me. Also what kindof game do you want free for all, dueling, capture the flag?

I added some character skins to my Geocities site. Most of them are at:
    http://www.geocities.com/dpk55/

    About 5 others are here:
    http://www.geocities.com/dpk55/outcast_skins

To install the skins unzip each file to the Game Data/Base folder in your Jedi Outcast directory.

You can get maps from www.jediknightii.net/

Some of the cool maps that I have recently downliaded are Kamino, Curuscant Promonade, Bushido, Bespin Air Vents, Cloud City Landing Platform, Colessium. Jedi Council, Sith Temple, Yavin Hangar, and Exhaustion. I will work at putting these on a site for everyone to easily download.

I have JKII. I would be intersted, but I have a 56k line and I have never played it online before. Also, I had to reformat my hard drive a couple of months ago because of a virus. I have not re-installed it since.

I will have to start playing it again so I can get a Lightsaber and so I can start playing with you guy's online.

What about a Gallactic battlegrounds battle online?

Now that there is a Jedi Outcast version for Mac I may have to find a copy

We could have a LAN gettogether one day. It sounds like at least four of us would be interested. We could play other SW games too.

I'm interested in playing too. I'm going to reinstall JKII tonight. I, like Kale, had to reformat my computer so I have to reinstall it again. I like the idea of a LAN party sometime too, I think that would be a blast.

some of the games I have:

    JKII
    X-wing vs. TIE fighter
    Galactic Battleground w/ Clone Campaigns
    Rebellion
    X-Wing Alliance
    Rogue Spear
    Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
Age of Empires, I, II and Age of Mythology
Diablo II w/ Lord of Destruction

    Greetings, blokes.

As I discovered last night, 56k of RAW POWER isn't going to cut it for the Jedi Outcast Online games.

However, since somebody broached the subject of a LAN party, I'd be up for that sometime. Here's a list of games that I have that can be played multiplayer:

    *Jedi Outcast
    *Unreal Tournament
    *Red Alert 2 / RA2: Yuri's Revenge
    *Sacrifice
    *Rebellion
    *Return to Wolfenstein Castle
    *Star Craft / Broodwars
    *Half-Life / Counterstrike
*Serious Sam ----> this game is fabulously fun multiplayer
*Serious Sam 2 - Second Encounter ---> as is this one
    *Baldur's Gate 1 + 2
    *Tony Hawk Pro Skater
*Diablo 2 / Lord of Destruction
    *Warcraft III

As it turns out, I have burn-able copies of each and every one of the above games, so if somebody doesn't have it, and they slipped me a blank CD-R, we could rectify that rather simply. :D

    Likes playing games,
    Yours Truly

I think we should schedule sometime after the large amount of things happening in the near future. Sometime in April might be good.

If you want to play you should have a network card. I think that I have one extra card someone could borrow.

Well, if it's possible then I'm in. I expect to go and pick up JK/JOII today as well as Galactic Battlegrounds and the cline wars expansion pack.

Tell me though, how good will my connection be? I only have a connection through Pitt (Fluke you should probably answer this)

Also, I am quite "illiterate" when it comes to online gaming, so bear with me.

What is LAN? what do I need for this? and so on....

    Thanks for your patience gentlemen.

Sal, if you are still dialing in through Pitt or Stargate then you will have trouble playing Jedi Outcast online. However, the single player campaign is very good, but can be difficult at times. Just use a tutorial from IGN.com if you get stuck.

Battlegrounds should be fine to play online becasue it doesn't require a fast connection.

    Sal,

A LAN is a Local Area Network. When you dial into PITT, you are accessing a Wide Area Network I beleive.

A LAN party is when several people get together and network their computers together with one being the Server. Then they can play games or do whatever they want to do by accessing the server over the network connection. You will need a network card installed in your computer to do this.

If I have left somthing out, someone please update.
