Thank you to everyone for a wonderful weekend. We laughed, talked, and relayed out hearts out, and I'm very proud of each and every one of you. We raised a total of $2,274.45!!!

The weekend raised over $50,000 for Cancer research, and even though it was COLD, it was the best fun. Thank you everyone!!!

Seriously though, in spite of the cold, I think our ability to keep warm in front of a fake fire is a testament to how dedicated we were to the cause and each every one of us was there for the right reasons. Fantastic weekend, fantastic efforts by all.

that sounds about right. Heck its about 16 in my apartment with the heat on.

by the way it got all the way up to 34 degrees two weeks ago.

Land Monster totally sucked.....they sounded like a fishwife screaming......constantly. Horrible lyrics, horrible sound and horrible image for impressionable kids to see!!! Gross.

Could honestly think of worse choices, but not many.

Not finding out what kind of music they play 'because they had no recordings yet' is a terrible excuse though, you'd think that would hint at their quality from the get-go

I am now forced to believe that they are a worse band than i had originally thought.

The fact that they have no recordings is bad, sure (even though their myspace is up for the world to see with some of their songs), but the fact that they were so desperate to get a show that they had to lie about their style (or atleast shorten the truth) to make sure they got in, even to a family event filled with Kids!

Pretty disgracefull effort on both fronts, really. Land Monster for the above, but also the Organisers for not even listening to the band that was going to be playing!!!

But oh well, its done and finished, next year they'll be thinking long and hard about what they're playing. (and they'll probably get someone to listen to them too

unless a band from pittysburg has the same songs that sound the same and have a band called "finger cuffs' (i think that was it) who were the band before land monster in their top friends, i think we'rew looking at different bands...

Just wanted to chuck it out there at Jay Jay's (the clothing store) amazing effort in raising over 91,000 dollars for Reach Out, just from 2 dollar packets of wrist bands

really shows that people are more than happy to donate money if the option is quick and easy for them.
