FF:SA Relay For Life 2010 - Photos, Prizes and Aftermath.......

I got the information sent to me and next years Relay For Life in Victor Harbour is in MARCH!! 13th - 14th March, so it will be warmer!!! Registration is $15 this time around and it can be done on line if you wish. Or, alternatively, I am happy to collect and register the team if that's easier for everyone. If you register on line, you can collect on line! They have a new system where by you can ask family and friends to support you via an email and they can just 'silently' donate to your account (or openly) and if 10 friends/family donate $10 each, its done!!!! Easy as! So let's get cracking people!!

We have time to raise our money, we have time to save it if that's easier for you, and we have time to get this rolling again!!

I'd like to put an idea forward, if I may. It's not set or anything like that, I just wanted to put the idea out there.

As we know, there has already been a SW team registered for the Victor Harbour Relay next year in the form of the 501st/RL team. What I am proposing is that instead of a SW theme next year, we modify it slightly to a 'Movie' theme, say 'Movie Maniacs' (possible sponsorship ) giving people the opportunity to say represent other movie characters from other movies, and a variation at the Relay for us. So please, thoughts here, and if no one likes it, it's cool, just an idea.

 

LOL!! Naw, SW is a costume, so if you have that, you wear that, but if you'd rather move in another direction, you can do that. This was all I was suggesting, opens the choice a bit more. SW or other movie characters, or even movie stars! envisions Guris Marilyn Monroe costume These are just ideas.
