Ok, I hope to have it all next week, I will let you all know as soon as I do have it!!! So start thinking about your fundraising ideas, morning tea at work? You bake a cake or two, put out a box and ask for donations? Ask for support at your local sportsclub/team! Talk to friends and relatives, tell them what you are doing and why, most people are happy to hand over $5 to support the cause, doesn't take long to add up!!! I'm saving my gold coins again like I have in the last few years, nearly half way there now, just putting my $1 and $2 in a tin!! Not too hard! So start thinking about your plan of attack team!!

DarkDiciple, I sent you a message a few days ago, but not heard back from you as yet. We'd still love you on the team, but now you will have to sign on as a late comer Contact me if you have any questions

 

Do we need to get permission to do the city? I know you do to fund raise in the Mall, the Cancer Council has Daffodil Day in the Mall once a year and I was told last year we really aren't allowed any other time unless we get a permit from the Adelaide City Council. But we could do the Parklands or maybe Rundle Street? I don't know....what do people think? I know at least four people there don't have costumes at all.

 

It's in the Arcade, and that's controlled by the Mall/Adelaide Council I was told. But yeah, if others are interested, we could ask at the big places, Westfield etc. So post if you are interested!!!

 

What DM said I'm happy to raise my own money too, been doing it quietly already. But if others wish to do a sh0opping centre, and I'm not otherwise engaged in something, I'd be more than happy to drag out a costume.

 

I spoke to Lynette at the Cancer Council a few mins ago and she has our team registration, it is being processed as I type this. She tells me that she will be posting our kit out tomorrow and hopes I will have it by Friday or Monday at the very latest. SO....I will be posting out everything on Monday at the latest, so watch the post on Tuesday!!
