Buff, NY Relay for Life. - June 21

We should be ok with a small turnout. It sounds more like they want us to be there to announce that next years event is Star Wars themed. I do not expect our appearance after that will be very long.

 

Do you have enough Jedi to balance Sith? If you do, I don't mind sitting this one out. That being said, if you need me, I'll be there.

 

Honestly a balance doesn't matter. If one side outnumbers another, so be it.

 

Obi-wan will use the force on all the Sith.

I will not be able to make it tonight. My sitter's work schedule was changed and I have nobody to watch the boys.

I'm told we can park wherever we can find a spot and to meet at the survivor's tent at 6pm. We will be introduced at the end of the opening ceremonies and can mingle/pose for pics at that point. Do not feel obligated to stay until any certain time. I did not discuss a departure time since this is our first appearance with RFL.

I've been speaking with Kim from the Relay for Life organizational team

 

Janice should be OK to come to this event.

 

This was a nice event, and the weather was great. They were very happy to have us there, and I think our presence generated some excitement for next year's event. It will be titled, "May the Cure Be With You!"

Personally, having several folks in my life who are currently fighting cancer, being there meant an awful lot to me.

 

Sorry I couldn't make it. I got tied up at work.

 

We were fine with the group that turned out, so no worries.

 

It was a nice enjoyable evening. I was behind the camera on this one with the boys in tow.

 

Planning has already begun for next year's event. A date has been set. May 30.
