Pencil in March 24-25 2007 for the next relay at Victor.

This time Guri and DLA will relay for real. May even practice doing laps at our oval.
We'll try to do that in spring. Why because the swooping magpies will give us a reason to go hard.

I AM SOOOO IN !!! The MR's at Night were AWESOME & the effort that most put in to raise the funds that we did was awesome too. What was our final total Mr Meanders ?

It was the most incredible experience of my life, and I cant wait to do it again!!!
I'M IN!!! I absolutely loved it last time. It was the greatest experience of my life. and this time i'll put alot more effort into raising ALL of the money.
I have asked about that - should get an answer soon.
The Victor dates will be official in a few weeks. Also as a group we can have fundraisers before then, with paperwork that says we are working on the Relay for Life. So if we want to organise a BBQ, car wash or other events we can.
So, we can have like 8 months to raise money!?!? OMG! We could clean up next year!!! WOOT!!!
8 MONTHS?!?!? With that i would be able to raise OVER the $110.
ADD another zero to that amount DV... 8 months will be plenty of time....
With this much notice, two teams would have to be on the cards...

if we're both doing it, school would be a struggle and i could do it at my lacrosse club (could be VERY profitable, EXTREMELY generous bunch) but who else? i'd have to do door knocks.
We're not allowed to do fundraising in places like Rundall Mall without council permission are we?
You have plenty of time to get more than one donation from a particular person.
One scenario is skool. We can take fundraising boxes like every second day and people can give us their spare lunch money.

well, at my lacrosse club people pay $10 to have a single square in Magical Squares, giving them a 1 in 100 chance (depending on how many you buy obviously. $10 per square) of winning half of the total amount.
so for charity... they could give up a fair bit...
I guess we'd best start organising this. I will talk to DM and together we will co-ordinate this lot. Unless there is someone else who would like to be team captains?
I would but being only 15... well, 16 by the time 2007 rolls around but yeah you know what I mean...
