The poster was done by Daniel Power from POWERLORD STUDIOS.

He's won awards all over the place from his airbrush artwork.....the guy is brilliant.

and any big Fettfans out there should notice something different about the helmet in the poster. [face_whistling]

YES....no dent on the left side of the helmet, but we know he has a dent in ANH.

    How does it happen ????

....we'll have to watch the movie and find out. [face_dancing]

I thought the dent came when Obi-Wan kicked Jango's helmet in Episode II and Boba just painted over it?

But then again I guess he would have gotten a new helmet.

    Sounds cool though.

Bravo to you for what appears to be a REAL minature set. It's great to see some fan films use real sets instead of always using CG. In any case, it looks like you have a quality production under way. Best of luck!

    Nice poster. =D=

Pet peeve: I'm always curious why people but the THX logo on something that isn't THX certified. Do they even know what it means? Is there any reason other than loading it with as many illegal trademarks as possible? And are you actually mixing in Dolby Surround? I just don't get why it's necessary.

    Details....uummmmmmmmmmmm..

It was made by Michael Laizon, you'll find his name in the Credits for Salems Lot.

The entire model is 5 feet by 4 feet by 3 feet high.
Made from Plastic, Balsa Wood, Super Glue caps, and Christmas lights. :)

I'll see if I can get some other shots of it and post them up.

He's also working on another project which features his dog as a Jedi (Yes, it's a comedy).
I'll see what pics I can find and post them up.

    EDIT:
Added a few more pics of the minature to the photo album

The funny thing regarding the guy who made this is that he has in essence, progressed backwards. Most of us make a fan film first with an aspiration to doing an original feature length movie later on. In this case, the Director already made his feature film (released on DVD internationally a couple of years ago) and then decided to do the fan film.

Check out the Rapidfire Productions website for more info.

Regarding WOTM, the minature was the first one Michael Laizans has ever attempted. Being a scenic artist by profession, painting of the model was easy, building it all from scratch was the tricky bit and he did a pretty fantastic job of it too.

In the comment regarding THX certification. The Director has a long history in home theatre systems (which is where his weekend job lies) and has some pretty good connections regarding getting good audio mixed. As LordVaderFF said, WOTM is in 6.1 surround so I can imagine it was done on THX certified equipment which means the image on the poster is correct.

BTW in case you're interested. The film itself was completed a few months ago and only just two days back the guys were getting the film compressed for an online release. So this isn't a production you have to wait months and months for, it's already here, all that's missing is the delivery to the fan base.

    So there ya go.

Well sadly that film won't be happening anymore (the one with his Dog)

Michaels little dog was killed last week, an accident when she was at work with Michael.

So that's one project that will never see the light of day.

Here's a shot of "Roxi" on the last day of Jedi Heritage.
