    Hello everybody,

I didn't see any threads on the general series, so I thought I would start one: the entire KOTOR series (including War) is now available to stream on Marvel Unlimited, which you can try out for free for one month using the passcode "starwars" (cancel before the one month is over to avoid getting a ten dollar renewal charge). I'm finally gonna be able to read this series for the first time, and I don't wanna do this alone, so I'm gonna drag you all into it.

I'm on issue 12, and so far the series is great, the easiest read of all the ongoing series I've read so far (Legacy, TOTJ).

The plot was different and engaging. The cast was amazing as well. One of the best series' ever imo.

One of the stories truest to the spirit of Star Wars in all of the EU.

Absolutely adore it (and, really, anything JJM does).

For me, Kotor was an interesting experiment, but I feel like it lacked a bit in terms of plot. Something about it just wasn't compelling enough for me. The characterizations were great, the writing flowed, the art was generally very good, but the overarching story lost me a bit after the Jedi Covenant. It doesn't have the epic, Saga sort of feel as Legacy, Republic, or TOTJ.

Still, it's a good read. JJM is a fantastic writer.

I envy you IG_2000, KOTOR is fantastic, I sometimes wish I could go back and experience KOTOR the way I did when I first read it!

And yes, Slyssk is the best ;)

Speaking of Slyssk, I suddenly feel tempted to switch back to my Gryph & Slyssk avatar...

But the Gryph pulls off the Cad Bane look so well... decisions, decisions...

This is one series I wish I read more of. :( I did read a couple of volumes but not enough. Like Dark Times, this is one series I would like to get into more.

What are you waiting for? As far as I am aware both series are available on Marvel unlimited.

Speaking of digital comics, I wonder if they'll go on sale on May Fourth this year. Dark Horse had sales, but never quite the best, and Amazon's selection wasn't quite complete. Gotta remember to check comixology or Marvel in a few weeks.

Ah, always loved this series, the first half was so fantastic, and even at his relative worst, JJM is still a great writer, not to mention the cast of characters. Hm, now where did I put those TPBs.
