Ah VaderLVR64, thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you liked that line. It was one of my favorites too. My daughter does this thing that probably all kids do but she's the only one I've got. Anyway, she grows in series not parallel. Her trunk gets longer but nothing else one month. Then the next month maybe her legs catch up. The next the arms. Recently it was her feet. Suddenly one day, *sproing*, new shoes time.

And KSA_2, nice to see a new (to me) reader! Thanks for reading. Yes, this was a challenge response. It was for the Winter Holiday challenge and this is the thread about it in the writer's resource forum. There's a lot of challenges that show up there and they are a lot of fun. And educational too sometimes.
