    Timeframe: after Black Fleet Crisis
Characters: Luke Skywalker, Padmé Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi mentioned

[This is my first attempt to write a poem. I had the idea for it in a restless night and it was bugging me till I wrote it down.
RedGold was so friendly and beta read it :)
Thank you, hon, you rock :D

I added the German translation to it and all multilingual writers should check out this place. ]

EDIT: I made a picture to this poem:

    [image=http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y165/YodaKenobi/ff43.jpg]

    Reminiscence

He was back on his home planet. After all those years he hadn?t thought that the hut would still be standing. Yoda's hut on Dagobah had vanished only after two, three years. But Tatooine was different. It was a desert planet and things remained seemingly forever.

The blue eyed man looked at the hut. It was as if he had left it yesterday, only the door was broken and obviously some Tusken had searched for useful things. He hoped he could still find some information in some form or other.

He entered the house. Sand covered the floor and furniture. Luke looked around. Furniture was thrown through the room, carpets were lying tousled on the floor, and the kitchenette was empty, all cooking utensils gone.

He sighed and sat on the floor. The Jedi Master reached out for the Force let himself fall into it. It flowed around him, through him and he could felt the surrounding, feelings but not his own.

    Ben's.

The older man lived in this hut for years and years. He had left his essence on this place.

Luke swam through them and found in a wall a concentration of love, loss and resignation. He saw in the Force that the wall had a hidden space. His eyes opened and he stood up. His gaze wandered over the wall, his hands searched for the niche.

There was it. He opened the hidden door and his eyes grew wide.

    Holocubes.

A smile appeared on his lips.

    A little triumph.

He put the cubes in his bag and headed back to his ship where he could read them.

Back in his skiff Luke settled down in the main room and switched on the reader. Again he draw into the Force for the decision which one he should read first. He took the one with the strongest emotional signature attached.

On the projector appeared the holo of a young woman, she was very beautiful. Dark hair cascaded down her back, kind eyes, full lips and she wore a beautiful dress. Somehow she reminded him of his sister, Leia.

Then Obi?Wan's kind voice started to speak:

    Padmé

    A name
    A woman
    A legend

    Padmé

A name well known in the galaxy
    Connected to hope and peace
A name used to save a queen
Only to be the highness itself
    A name so well known
    And long forgotten

    Padmé

A woman so full of strength
    And broken in the end
A woman so full of love
    And died from hatred
A woman so full of hope
    And ended helpless

    Padmé

A legend to fight her battles
    In the court or battlefield
A legend married to a knight
    A decision against the rules
A legend that gave birth to twins
The hope of a new generation

    Padmé

    A woman, wife and mother
    A senator, queen and child
    A fighter, warrior and diplomat
A character to describe is hard

    Padmé

    A woman too fast forgotten
    In a war smashed galaxy

Luke was baffled. This was his mother. So long he had searched for her and here in the most unlikely place he had found a memory of her.

He promised himself that she will not be forgotten again.
