So every once in a while I like to go to where the RMFF all started. The UBB boards no longer exist, so I must satisfy myself with page #128.

Back when JD was SilverDragon...
Back when I had never been to a meeting because my parents were control freaks...
Back when local conventions had too many trekkers (now they can't get rid of the SW geeks)...
Back when the RMFF.net was fanforce.nathair.com...
Back when Faceplant actually posted on the boards...
Back when we all thought Chunk_the_Jawa was short and fat...
Back when we hadn't totally dominated the ENTIRE message boards in post count and we just HAD to beat Waco...
Back when Darth_Hair POSTED LIKE THIS...
Back when there were epic battles with Qui-Gone-Drinkn...

Ahhh... those were the days. Then of course there are the missing 2,000. The posts we'll never get back.

 

lol, I still had SilverDragon in my watched user list up until about a week ago. Decided he died awhile back (can't remember the password), so I deleted him. SilverDragon used to be my screenname for EVERYTHING, lol.

and bob was a hero to male chauvinists everywhere

No, the UBB was a different kind of cool. This place is still cool. And the new place will be cool too.

 

I remember when Rachel used to not let me hang out with you guys because she was afraid you'd all be like that other fan group I'm a member of. ROFLMAO.

 

And then came the night of duct tape and eyebrows

I do admit, though -- the whole thing was a very undercover job. Getting her to MHC was easy. She had NO idea everyone would be there. LOL.

 

Good times....
