Anyway, I really liked how you showed Palpatine's view of the force; I am staying optimistic though that Luke will not give in in the end; and, perhaps, Anakin and Padme will together be able to hold off the emperor! ... just wondering, if they do, will the Rebellion not be needed anymore, and then, will Leia never meet Han? perhaps not yet the main thing to worry about now, but still

It was fear. Complete, utter terror and the knowledge that resistance was futile. Coruscant had a new name; Imperial City.
I just love that line. Throughout the entire chapter you've really set that dark tone, but this line just really lays it all out.

Padmé. She was a threat to him, tainting the blackness with her light. It was she that had torn Vader from his grasp, she that was now the servant of the light.
Yeah, so take that Palpy!

She was dangerous, too dangerous to survive. Perhaps when he captured her he would make Lord Vader watch her die.

I really hope you haven't abandoned this story. I just found 'Forever' yesterday and I was so happy that there was a sequel. I really am enjoying this. Please PM me if you update.
