If you're going to suffer withdrawal symptons from addiction, it may as well be from paperbacks.
Well, we just have to hold the thread together until February comes around.

We will FIGHT to keep this thread alive!
And maybe bribe some people.
*flips the caps off the 'ol EL-20's optic sight, and checks the mag*
Bring on the topics.
Completely (alright, semi-) off topic, but just to keep this thread alive without having to resort to alcohol or weapons...
Is there any possiblity of a Republic Commando mini-game to coencide with TZ's release? Or ever?
I mean something like an official Flash game, similar to Planetary Forces... only cooler. We already have the cellphone game, but how about something more accessible.
I want a real sequel.
I've always wanted them to put more flash games on starwars.com. I really want something with more of an arcade game format. I think an RC game could do very nicely. Go from level to level shooting things and blowing up stuff. There are few things more fun than explosions.
Truer words were never spoken.
How about, Ryan Kaufman is a kriffing genius.
If that doesn't work, try it without the sarcarsm.
Tell you what-- why don't you try it without the sarcasm, smart guy?
It's never a good idea to be sarcastic towards someone who dresses like Darth Vader...
Ryan, make him clean out the barracks with a protato.
I know, I was just teasing. And some people say I can't take a joke. In all seriousness, I really do like your work, and enjoy most of your posts/blogs.
I think an RC flash game would be very interesting. Maybe someone who has Game Maker can do it.
Or somebody with official Star Wars video game connections...
Actually, I think that if they put up all the old Star Wars games (NES, SNES, Gamegear, Gameboy, etc.) on Hyperspace, more people would buy in to it.
Everyone see where they are releasing the LEGO Star Wars game on the Gamecube? It's going to look fantastic. And I think LEGO Star Wars was hands-down one of the most entertaining SW games of the past several years. Obviously it's aimed at kids, but I know a lot of "grown-ups" who had a blast playing it.
Speaking of video games, I caught the tail end of a segment on Republic Commando on G4 TV last night. I didn't catch the name of the guy they interviewed, but I was rather ammused by the Clone Trooper antics.
*blows up nearest droid starship in attempt to get this thread's blood pumping again*
Speaking of G4: When X-Play (no, you sick people) preveiwed Republic Commando, they called the RCs ARCs.
For months I thought it was a practical joke, until I realised it looked real enough on that shop shelf I saw.
So, is the TZ cover shown in the online supplement for GGAR the final cover for the novel?
A RC sequel would be even neater if it meant that you could go and blast away at Jedi as well as battle droids. (and the odd Alderaanian/Chandrilan politico) Who could ask for more?
Maybe whenever you kill someone, they explode.
I sure couldn't/
