Let me just say that this was not my idea. Another,Kent, came up with the idea for this one and he deserves all the credit. The only thing I have contributed are the words below...Enjoy.

    Resurrection

Today is a better than average day. Today the Galaxy will change, history will be made. And I am thoroughly enjoying my part in it. It does seem a waste to execute those Jedi in the arena though. They fought bravely against those beasts and deserve a nobler end than to be killed by a soulless machine. But I get my credits either way so I have nothing to sweat over. Still, I am curious to see how well I would do against two Jedi. I?ve more than held my own against one, hmm, more than once. But, two, that would be an impressive feat.

What the?Damn! I let my guard down and now I get a Jedis blade at my throat for it. Yeah. Act tough Jedi, it will be the last time you or any other Jedi ever get the drop on me!!! At least Tyranus appears to have anticipated this, here come the droids now. Good, maybe I can toast him a little bit with my flamethrower while he?s distracted. Well, this one can jump high?Good, I?d rather get up close and personal for this one. I?m gonna make you pay Jedi. No on threatens my life and lives to tell about it.

Time to get into the thick of things. There?s a good spot to drop in. OK time to take aim?squeeze off a few shots. Whats that sound? Why is the ground shaking? Oh great a reek?Have to tuck in and roll?My jetpack is going to be a waste after this ride. I swear, if I get my hands on that Jedi? Finally, OK get your head to clear, there?s a Jedi I need to kill. There he is?line up the shot. Oh no. Not that reek again, why does it keep coming after me?!? Doesn?t matter, I?ll put the beast out of its misery.

Now that that?s taken care of?Where?s that Jedi? There he is, and without his lightsaber, even better for me. There?s his lightsaber, I?d better grab it before?uh oh?it?s moving. Grab it, get it?Damn he?s got it. Shoot, shoot him down. Damn! He?s blocking every shot with ease. Move, duck? get out of here. Why won?t my legs move?!?

White light growing brighter to sudden darkness?

Clone CT-7/812 shot upright in his cot, sweating profusely, his breathing erratic. His heart felt as though it would explode through his chest at a moments notice. Slowly his senses returned and his adrenaline rush subsided. The dull hum of machinery calmed him, helped him remember where he was. Kamino.

Clone CT-7/812 visually scanned the barracks area and saw thousands just like him. ?Walking mirrors? he thought to himself many times. Well, they weren?t all like him. After all, they were all still asleep. No signs of nightmares disturbing them, haunting them with visions that could not be explained. For three consecutive nights he had this dream. Memories of a life he did not live. The horror of it shook him to the core of his being. Living through a death not his own and the pain of dying, yet waking, was beginning to drive him mad.

It wasn?t only the dream that made CT-7/812 feel like he was unique. Many times during training simulations images flashed in his mind, again not his own. Chasing, trapping, hunting, killing. The images faded as quickly as they formed and he was unable to glean any useful information from them. But he was certain it was a defensive reaction to certain stimuli, as if he were programmed by another set of programs altogether, a genetic program.

His reflexes seemed quicker than the others. In close quarter combat training he disarmed his instructor with such speed and force, the instructor, a clone five standard years older, suffered a shattered wrist and his forearm had broken in three places. CT-7/812 had no memory of learning that technique. It was not a part of their training protocols. He heard the others whisper when he entered a room. They all took notice of him. In a room where everyone staring at you is an identical twin, that?s saying something. He had distinguished himself, but was that a good thing? He often wondered if it was.

    It appear

Seeing as how this is someone elses idea and they like what I started...I will continue on with it in my spare time.

Let me know what you think or if you have any ideas. I want to make this fun, so let me hear your thoughts and I'll see if I can incorporate them.

    Thanks.

CT-7/812 made his way through the bright sterile white hallway of the administration building of the cloning facility. He approached the door to the main office area and depressed its release. The door slid open before him and he stepped through. The interior matched the same sterile décor as the hallway. There never were holos of other worlds or Kaminoans with their families on the walls or desks. ?Everywhere I look, all I see is the same thing. Nothing changes.? CT thought to himself.

A long squared off window to his right was his only view to the outside world around him. The soft spattering of rain against glass distracted him. He turned towards it and stepped up to gaze out. He saw the heavy turmoil of the ocean as its waves crashed against the cluster of similarly designed, dome shaped buildings sitting atop thick stanchions.

The rain was a constant on Kamino as well as the constant sea of rage below him. To CT-7/812, it was if the oceans were eternally angry at the Kaminoans above and wouldn?t be happy until the seas knocked down every last city spire, consuming the population whole. That thought put a smile on his face. He could hear the faint whistling of the powerful winds blowing just beyond the window as lightning cackled from the sky. The lightning triggered an image in his head. What his mind saw was a thin, long skeletal hand reaching down for him. As the flash of lightning dissipated, CT jumped back from the window in fear. He quickly regained his composure as he saw the reflection of Taun We entering in the glass.

?What can I do for you number eight one two?? Taun We asked in her naturally soft, comforting voice.

CT bowed to Taun We before replying. ?Thank you. I know this is?unusual and I appreciate you seeing me.?
?Of course.? Taun We reciprocated. ?Anything we can do to improve your training and make you a more valuable commodity interests us.?
?I don?t know if what I have to say will make me more valuable or improve training methods for that matter.? CT said tentatively. ?I think something is wrong with me. I?ve had nightmares. Images of things I know I didn?t do flash in my mind. It all seems so real. The sounds of the screams, the smell of death, I swear I can taste it. That?s how real they are. I don?t know why this is happening to me, or more importantly?why. Has this happened before? Have there been?others??

CT knew that he was created from a genetic template, that he was a clone bred for one purpose. But, he could never bring himself to say what he truly was. He would never speak it.

Taun We stared at CT for a long moment. Whether she was going through some thought process to remember if this had happened before or calculating her response he did not know. All he knew for sure was that in her presence, he was more calm than usual. The way the slender Kaminoan rhythmically swayed her head back and forth as she looked down on him, her slow deliberate blinks, it was almost hypnotic.

?I do not recall any such defects in any clones we have made, from any species.? She finally replied.

When she said defect, that caught his attention, but he was still calm and let the comment pass.

?I will bring this to the attention of Lama Su. He will know the best course of action. Perhaps you should rejoin your class. I will contact you when a decision has been made.?

Taun We motioned to the opening doors and escorted CT-7/812 to the main administration hallway, watching him as he strolled on his way back to the training complex. She then turned to make her way to Lama Su.

Taun We entered Lama Su?s private chambers. Lama Su was already seated in his usual teardrop shaped chair suspended from the ceiling. His small desk was littered with various datacards a small monitor and an even smaller communications array. Another teardrop chair slowly slid down from the ceiling, turning so that whatever guest it would accommodate would be facing the Prime Minister. Taun We sat in the chair once it had settled into its position as Lama Su studied the s

CT-7/812 joined his companions at the firing range just as target practice was beginning. CT fell in step with his fellow clones at the end of the line. With military precision each clone marched into its individual firing range stall and stood at attention. Placed on the hand rail table before each clone laid a BlasTech DL 40 pistol, unloaded and one power pack. An amplified voice was heard down range.

?All clear on the left. All clear on the right. All clear on the firing line.?

A soft tone was sounded and the clones began target practice. Each clone took one step forward in unison and grabbed the weapon. They then grabbed the power pack and slapped it in place. With the weapons loaded, the clones began to litter their targets with precision. The sheer accuracy and speed with which the clones fired, that to an observer, would have been most impressive.

Yet there was one at the end that seemed out of place. His stance was different; his profile was shifted to the side as he extended his right hand out. The others stood in a more traditional frontal stance with both hands holding the blaster. His timing was slower as he shot as well, providing better accuracy. That would make sense if he were targeting a single being in a crowd versus the entire crowd, as was most likely to be the case of these clones should they see action in the war. The other clones depleted their ammunition and smartly pulled the packs from their housings and placed both on their hand rail almost completely in unison. The clone at the end of the line not only fired off three more shots, but did something else odd. When his ammunition was finally depleted, he spun the pistol around his trigger finger backwards?then forward, gunslinger style, then slipped the pistol into an imaginary holster.

The weapon fell to the ground with a soft bang, but the echo of it reverberated throughout the range. This snapped CT-7/812 out of his daze and he immediately snatched the pistol and removed the pack, placing it on his own rail. His face reddened in embarrassment. None of the others laughed or even snickered. They were trained and trained well.

A camera tucked into the corner of the ceiling swiveled and stopped where CT was standing. CT had heard the camera move and he could feel the small hairs on the back of his neck prickle as somebody watched him make a mistake. He half turned towards the camera and looked directly into it. He gave a brief, but deadly stare to the faceless person watching, then turned back to attention. ?Good, maybe now the small hairs on the back of their neck is standing on end.? he thought.

Hmmm.... I wonder if the clone has a particular person in mind?

His behavior is definitely drawing more attention to himself.

That was awesome Zane. I'm sending you my detailed analysis/appreciation in a seperate PM, but thanks so much for taking the effort to write this.

Incidentally the original plot summary and links to the official website of JANGO FETT : RESURRECTION

    are RESURRECTION

    Some Instructions -

    1. I want you to alter this slightly. The reader should have no clue what Kaminoans do with errant clones. When Taun-Wee promises to find the answers to all his questions later on, I want the reader to be as surprised as CT about the gas chamber.

    2. I'll tackle some of the ending, which some people at the fanfilm forum have told me is abrupt.

One idea is to have several alternate endings, unlike the original ending.

In each ending, he awakens back to the beginning, and finds an alternate route to Coruscant. This may be crazy but maybe at least two endings? Let's see.

P.S BTW can you move this back to my original thread?

Please continue here where we stared, thanks ! :)

CT-7/812s head throbbed as he stood in line for his mid day meal. The lines moved efficient and organized, but always slow. CT bobbed his head out to his right and gazed down the seemingly never ending line that stretched out before him. ?Like a herd of cattle.? he shook his head. After a few moments the slow movement combined with the increased pounding in his head, CT stepped out of line and moved directly to the head grabbing his utensils as he went. It wasn?t until one of his ?twins? stepped in front of him, blocking him from the food, did he notice that all other activity had ceased in the mess hall and that all eyes were on him.

?Wait your turn.? droned the twin.

CT stared daggers at the other for a moment before replying simply?

    ?Move.?

The other stared back and did not move??Mistake one.? CT thought.
CT side stepped the other and reached for a plate. The other grabbed CTs wrist as he did so??Mistake two.?
CTs coiled reflexes unleashed as he hit the other squarely in the throat with the flat edge of the tray. The force of the blow staggered the other as he clutched his throat, struggling for air??Mistake three.?
CT took advantage of the others defenseless position with a swift kick to the solar plexus, knocking the other to the floor barely conscious??Mistake four, he should have died. I?ll rectify that.?

CT grabbed a plas-steel knife from a utensil holder and was sitting atop the helpless clones chest in a blur. He stared down upon his twin with a hatred that horrified the other. CTs feral sneer turned into a slight smile as he raised the blade high. Just before the fatal blow could be delivered, CT felt a cold sting in his back as his central nervous system shut down from electrical overload. His body convulsed as the current flowed through him and though his body would not respond to his commands, a loud, pained howl escaped his throat, echoing throughout the mess hall. His pent up rage lingered in the hall even after CT-7/812 succumbed to the warm darkness of unconsciousness.

    **************

CT blinked as his eyes adjusted to the white light of the room. He was flat on his back and found that he was restrained to a hard surfaced table of some sort as he tried to rise. The tall thin frame of Taun Wes leaned over him, eclipsing the bright light. Her smile was thin, but large as always. CT could not, at any one time, ever remember seeing her without that smile, not that he had been around her often. Yet her comforting smile and tranquil voice seemed so familiar, as if he?d known her for years.

?Do you feel better now?? she blinked at him.

CT struggled to find his voice and it was shaky when he spoke.

?Why am I here? What happened??
?Don?t you remember? You attacked one of your class members??

CT thought for a long moment, struggling to make sense of the time he had lost.

?That really happened? It seemed like a dream, like I was outside of myself.? CT said in disbelief
?You still have dreams?? Taun we inquired. ?It seems strange that none of the other clones report having that deficiency.?

CT enjoyed the serenity Taun We sometimes provided, but there were times he wished she would just keep her mouth shut.

?In any case,? Taun We continued without missing a beat. ?The Prime Minister seems to have answers to some of your questions. He would like to see you, if you feel you are up to it.?

CT felt the small welling of relief begin to fill him. At long last, he might finally come to understand his past and who he was, more importantly, his future and who he was going to be. He looked deeply into Taun Wes glassy black eyes, measuring her sincerity, and for the first time ever, noticed a beauty in something that wasn?t there before. He could see the galaxy in those eyes as well as the small reflection of himself. That snapped him back to where is focus needed to be. He forced these new thoughts to the back of his mind.

?Of course, the sooner the better.?

    IV

CT-7/812 and Taun We casually strolled towards Lama Sus office. CT looked out at the cloning facility in full swing. He observed how gently the embryo tubes were carefully scanned and encoded with DNA sequences by the droids maintaining them. CT looked back to Taun We as his curiosity began to get the better of him.

?Do you have any idea what the Prime Minister knows about me?? he asked tentatively.
?Of course. I know a great deal more than he thinks I do.?

This puzzled CT and he stopped in his tracks.

?Well aren?t you going to fill me in?? he asked in annoyance. Didn?t she realize how important this was to him?
?I guess there is no harm in telling you the background.? she replied as she stopped to face him. ?As you know, you are a genetic reproduction from an original host, an almost identical copy. The original host was a bounty hunter, Jango Fett.?

CT thought back to his various dreams and memory flashes. The name was familiar.

?You said almost an identical copy. What do you mean by that??
?As a clone to be used in combat situations, your DNA structure needed to be modified. You need to be skilled yet willing to take orders without question. Something Jango Fett never really liked to do.? she answered with a smile. ?And neither it seems do you.?
?But if I have a modified genetic structure that?s identical to all the others, how is it that I have these dreams? Why am I so different?? CT pondered.
?I am afraid I do not have the answer to that question.?
?The template, Jango Fett, what happened to him??

For the first time, Taun Wes smile faded. Her bright eyes dulled slightly.

?He was killed in combat, by a very powerful Jedi master.? Taun We answered sadly. ?Unfortunately, I do not know the details.?

CT stood in silence, soaking in all that he had learned. ?Somehow, I think I know the details?all of them.? he thought to himself.

?We should not keep the Prime Minister waiting.? Taun We said as she motioned back in the direction they were walking.

CT shook himself free of his thoughts and followed Taun We to a small conference room. The door slid open and CT noticed the fresh smell of ozone. Before CT stepped through the threshold Taun We caressed his shoulders reassuringly. He felt a small pinch on his shoulder as Taun We slid her elongated fingers loosely from him. He looked up to her and saw that her smile was firmly entrenched back on her face. Two tear drop shaped chairs hung from the ceiling and CT sat in the one facing the door. Mainly to make sure he was not surprised from behind, but another more subtle reason, was so that he could watch Taun We saunter gracefully back down the hallway as the door slid shut behind her.

Goosebumps formed on CTs skin due to the colder than normal temperature of this particular room and he felt his patience wearing thin as he wondered what was keeping the Prime Minister. He heard the soft hiss just before the light smoke flowed from the vents lined across the floor. The slight metallic scient gave the smoke away. Dioxycin. This was a trap.

CT-7/812s training and instincts kicked in quickly as he began to conserve his breathable air. He calculated that he had approximately two minutes before the air would become toxic. He scanned the ceiling for any type of ventilation shaft, but did not see one. He knew it would be locked, but he tried the door controls anyways, muttering an Mandolorian curse after confirming it to be so. He knew that the room would need to be vented somehow, so he began to search the thin crevasses of the walls but did not find anything. That?s when he knew that the vents on the floor were his only chance.

He exhaled slowly as he stepped onto one of the hanging chairs. He got as close to the ceiling as possible before filling his lungs as fully as he could. He jumped down from the chair and crawled to the nearest vent. The dioxycin was in full flow now. CT ripped the material from his uniform and used it as a mask. He felt the vent a

Memories swirled, images faded from background to foreground. Beings quivering in fear, screams of the dead echoed around him, reaching for him. A hot sharp pain shot into his body, awakening his senses. His eyes flashed open as he sucked in oxygen hungrily. The warm pain spread to every nerve ending, forcing him to remain prone. His eyes were open but he could not see. ?Am I blind?!??.

The question jumped around inside his head and he quickly deduced one fact. He was still alive.

?Rest.? A familiar voice called to him. ?It will take more time for you to recover from the antitoxin than it will stun bolts.?

Taun We?Was she some guardian angel? Always there to protect him when he needed it most? CT-7/812 was not sure but as soon as he was able, he was going to uncover the truth.

?Antitoxin?? he said when he finally found his voice.
?I placed an antitoxin patch on you as you entered the room. It negated the effects of the poison while lowering your heart rate and body temperature, giving the appearance that you were indeed deceased.?
?Why am I wanted dead? Is this some sick joke to you?because of my dreams?? CT tried to shout, but barely managed a whisper.

Taun We sat beside him and wiped his now wet brow with a soft cool cloth.

?Lama Su wanted to dispose of you because of your genetic anomaly. I could not allow that.? she answered.
?Why?What makes me so worthy of your efforts.?
?You are special.? Taun We soothed ?Very special. Your genetic structure was altered but not in the same way as the others. And, you also have one distinct difference.?

Taun We continued to dab CTs forehead with the cloth as she continued.

?Jango Fett was a firm believer in contingency plans. A?backup plan as I remember him calling it.? Taun We reflected affectionately. ?Jango Fett made use of our experimental memory recorders. It took some time, but he was able to upload his memories into a recorder. He left this device with me along with explicit instructions. If anything were to happen to him or Boba, he wanted his memories loaded into an unaltered clone. He wanted to ensure his legacy would live on.?

CT listened as Taun We told her tale, trying to make sense of it all.

?You said unaltered?Yet my structure was altered. Altered how and what is a Boba??

Taun We calmly answered as if she knew the questions in advance.

?The Prime Minister would never allow me to have an unaltered clone, after all Jango had been given one already. That was Boba. So I had to fulfill my obligation in secrecy. So my most difficult task began, finding the perfect candidate. After a lengthy search through data files, scores, and psychological evaluations, I found you.?

CT could feel the warmth of Taun Wes pride as she smiled down at him.

?I chose you because you most resembled Jangos personality. The next task was much simpler, integrating Jangos memories into you. They were slipstreamed into your training programs. Slowly they were eventually all added over time.?
?Then why can?t I remember everything?? CT asked. ?All I get are memory fragments.?

?Most of the memories seem to be triggered by certain visual cues or some other stimuli. The memories were implanted deep into your subconscious to slowly manifest themselves, to protect your mind from overload. But, I expect at some point the full rush of memories will come and it will be painful.?

CT-7/812 laughed to himself at the thought of that joyful moment. The hot pain was subsiding and he tentatively moved his limbs. He was sore and figured he probably would be for a long while, but he has his life and finally?answers. He thought that it was odd that he was not angry at the truth; he had accepted it and decided to move forward from this point. A clean start he was not going to waste. Taun We raised the lights in the room to a low level, mindful to not blind him. CT scanned his surroundings while his eyesight adjusted. He noticed what look eerily like three other bodies covered up to the neck with a thin white sheet. They were in the morgue and that t

I really liked this chapter. We didn't see a lot of Taun We in the film, and this story really brings her character to life. In this chapter especially, you've shown that a friendship of sorts obviously existed between Taun We and Jango.

I feel a little silly now, I forgot totally about the flash-learning templates for clones as a possible explanation for the flashbacks and memories. Of course that does not explain how Jaango knows the details of Jangos death, the memory record would end when Jango handed the recorder back to Taun We.

Could be more going on here than even Taun We thinks.

    Great story.

WOW...(nearly faints from all the responses) :)

GAK...Welcome and thanks for reading. I don't remember seeing your name, so if you're new here...WELCOME!!! Glad you are enjoying the fic.

VL64...Thanks. I've had a lot of fun with the idea of this fic...I wish I had come up with it myself.

Gina...Thanks for keeping up with this story. I hope all works out for you for the best. I really worked to flesh out Taun We because we really don't know much about her. I really think of her voice in my head when writing her dialogue (I hope you hear it too) and I had to re-write the lines to make them fit her character.

JM...No need to feel silly guy and I am almost upset that you picked up on the death memory. I am still working on that part of how it integrates between CT and Jango. We know that the memories will come before what we see in EPII. I had to constantly keep that in mind when writing this.

Thanks guys for reading and comments.

Zane, I really hate to say this pal, but I have to object to a few things.

I had requested you politely a few posts above but you are not complying.

These are my complaints, being the author, Michael Kent of the story Jango Fett: RESURRECTION

    Official Website at

OFFICIAL JANGO FETT : RESURRECTION WEBSITE

    My complaints to Zane-

    1. I don't see why you have started a seperate thread for this when I had posted the entire story outline

    HERE andHERE

    calling for a collaboration.

Duplicate threads for the same story are redundant

    2. You are repeatedly posting chapters without contacting me, the author of this story first. My call for CO-Writing this story explicitly stated

Writers interested in collaborating on this project may please contact the author by email

You have not done this. After you posted chapter I, (that too in a seperate thread I wonder why)

I didn't want to be rude and ignored that.
But you're posting chapter after chapter and changing and mutilating the plotline without ever letting me know. Even when you "update"

    3. I do NOT approve of the changes you are making to the plot line, and would like you to alter what you have done if you have any intention of pursuing this story further.

    specifically-

This story was meant to have a supernatural element to it. No memory recorder or any such thing. Jango is reincarnated period. No Taun-Wee rescuing him.
He escapes from the gas chamber, is pursued by Kamino security. He is a stowaway on a supply ship. Read the plot outline here-

    ORIGINAL PLOT OUTLINE

As for the conclusion to this story by the original author

    of Jango Fett : RESURRECTION

    Here it is

Apparently, The clone template?s skills have been underestimated by the cloners imagined. Escaping the chamber he hides in a ventilation shaft. There is an alert sounded, but making a daring escape on an Aiwha, CT 7/812 leaves Kamino as a stowaway on a supply ship.

He even makes an attempt to contact his "son", the unaltered clone Boba Fett, using their secret code.

However, Boba blocks transmissions to the Slave I. Frustrated, Jango proceeds with his feverish obsession. The only thing that makes sense anymore. To seek out the Jedi Knight who killed him. For revenge.

Hitching rides on several ships he finally lands on Coruscant and rushes to the Jedi temple stealing an airpeeder, but seconds before he reaches the Jedi temple, in a bizarre event, CT-7/812 is decapitated by an out of control Airspeeder. A repaired and restored speeder that once belonged to a bounty hunter by the name of Zam Wessel.

Please DO NOT persist in altering the plotline without prior consultation with me first.

    If you want to continue,

    1. Continue all further chapters in the original thread

ORIGINAL THREAD FOR JANGO FETT : RESURRECTION

    2. Please consult me first before merrily doing what you please with my story. I do not appreciate this. I do not mean to be rude but my polite requests to you have been repeatedly ignored.

    Thanks,

    Michael Kent

Michael, I can understand your ire and your concern, and even your anger at seeing your plotline taken from your hands. And I thank you for remaining calm and courteous through this whole affair.

One thing, though : Star Wars belongs to George Lucas, and you cannot technically claim anything. But if you still intend to complain, the two of you should go and see a Mod and ask her what she thinks about the whole affair.

Actually I had called for co-writers after posting the full story outline. I had explicitly stated that prospective collaborators must contact me first by email.

Zane certainly hasn't "stolen" it, but did not contact me requesting permission to collaborate.

He went ahead and posted the first chapter and I didn't want to be rude to him, (inspite of the strange fact that he had started his own seperate thread- wonder why?)

ALL subsequent chapters were posted without consulting me. Before putting the clone in the gas chamber he sent me just one PM, asking what he should do.

I asked him specifically to wait and that I'd think of something, but he's merrily gone ahead and posted his version of the story.

I wasn't even notified that there was an update. This is an unethical practice in a collaborative effort.

One thing, though : Star Wars belongs to George Lucas, and you cannot technically claim anything.

Point taken, but I'm not "claiming" anything. Also
if all stories using trademarked Star Wars names belong to George Lucas, can I take a story outline written by someone on these boards and repost it in my own seperate thread and do what I like with it?

Technically the original author can't "claim anything"

Fan Fiction writing, still has some ethics governing it.
