Apparently power got cut off from my apartment again .

I don't understand why it's so hard for my roommates to PAY THE DAMN BILL!!!!!

If their is one thing I look forward to once I graduate is not having to deal with this annoying drama again

Nice! I love how much Kong was in the movie. It seems they changed course for that after Godzilla 2014.

Even though I like Godzilla's character more, this was my favorite monster movie yet.

 

I only realized the studio was going for a "cinematic universe" after John Goodman's character mentioned

I was like "oh, I see." It felt like a sort of sucker punch because I had no idea there was supposed to be continuity between this and Godzilla before that.

 

Well, except, this knowledge isn't particularly useful to me

Edit: I mean, what is it going to lead to? Godzilla vs. King Kong Infinity Reloaded?

I had a look earlier. Nice twang of nostalgia. Shame I missed Wild Force by one season, that's my favourite.

Yet I feel like I need to mentally adjust myself for how cheesy it might turn out

Would it even truly be Power Rangers without some helping of cheese? Lol

 

I was this closing to saying, "Hey, I just saw a commercial for Power Rangers!"

But considering what happened the last time I did that... I'm gonna pre-empt the condescending joke gif response.

 

Yeah that's the problem-

I never saw the tv show as a kid,
but seeing what it was through YouTube makes me cringe at the thought of a movie.

I was into Power Rangers from the Wild Force to S.P.D. era. Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder were my ****!

 

I believed this for an eighth of a second..

 

It was a staple for me and my brothers back in the day so I'll likely have a higher tolerance for that. It's more than likely one of those things you had to grow up with to enjoy. haha

 

And how did ya feel in that eight of a second?

 

Dissapointed

 

I watched it here and there as a kid, but I was never a fan. But I'd certainly be game to watch the movie.

I would go over to my friend's house to play Nintendo, and then he'd he be done with that, and he'd just want to watch Power Rangers and jump all over the furniture (he had ADHD and it's entirely possible his parents gave him too much caffeine) and I would sit quietly and hope he didn't try to beat me up while he was pretending to be a power ranger. Lol.

I always thought the acting was too goofy. I was (or actually thought I was) one of those "cool kids" who would make fun of Power Rangers at lunch.

 

Always glad to be able to evangelize for THE GIANT CLAW! Trust me, you wouldn't be disappointed...from a certain point of view.
