yes the novel says he saw the empire rise and fall DarthAnakin96 :D

it also seems to suggest he knew exactly what went on in the throne room between Luke, Palps and Vader too.

Very curious indeed :p Maybe he was a senator in the PT and looked up to Palps. Or maybe Snoke is possibly from the unknown regions. OR MAYBE he was one of the royal guards in ROTJ [face_thinking][face_thinking][face_thinking]

There was a copy of The Glove of Darth Vader in my elementary school library. I used to think that book looked so cool. :p

And I had a friend who read Mission to Mount Yoda in the 2nd grade too.

Same here [face_laugh] We also had some Galaxy of Fear books :p

If Snoke was on the DSII and Snoke and Palpatine may had some shipped relationship, then BAM!

Forgive me, but what are these books, The Glove of Darth Vader and Mission to Mount Yoda?

    Are they canon?

    What's Galaxy of Fear books?

Dagobahsystem they're kids' Star Wars books from the early '90s, but they were actually canon.

I see. I've not heard of them. Thank you.

If you don't mind my asking, what are your thoughts about the Disney/LFL canon reboot of the EU?

Just curious what you think about it.

Happy Friday and good morning to everyone. :D Went to bed early but tossed and turned for the latter half of the night because
    [IMG]not counting exams of course.:p
Did some late night you tube searching & stumbled across this gem. I have Tarzan on blu-ray, you'd think I'd have watched the deleted scenes by now but no. I haven't even had time to go through all the SW ones. 8-}[face_blush] Anyway, here it is.

I love everything about Tarzan & love the opening they went with, but this is just wow. [face_hypnotized] I dig this version too, had chills watching it, but totally get why they went a different route. :p I think it's even more impactful in this black & white drawn version than it would be if it was animated. [face_thinking]

    Anywho, have a great day y'all. [:D]

OK since I missed out on the Snoke speculation last night, here are my 2 theories:

    1) He's Plagueis (I've held this one since a couple weeks after the ST was announced)

    2) He's some personification of the dark side, like the Son from Mortis

Personally after having seen what's been put out I think #2 is more likely but I prefer #1 because it ties the saga together and could bring in some elements from the Plagueis book (which is my favorite SW book).

I think that's personally one of his biggest flaws as a storyteller- Mystery for the sake of mystery is not interesting, nor does it lead to good storytelling.
