After Civil War, I could really not care less about ever seeing Tony Stark again. That film completely ruined the character for me.

I found a superb foreign poster for Dead Men Tell No Tales. Better than the poster for my country!

Completely disagree. He was right.

 

Right? Siding with the Hulk's main villain to blame the Avengers for saving people? Besides Ultron and the deaths of a round a dozen people, the Avengers have done nothing but solved the problems of the world's governments and SHIELD while stopping Loki and Hydra. Tony's actions are inexcusable in CW, going as far to fight Steve rather than help him stop the true villain, and then trying to kill Bucky even though he KNOWS he had no control or will over his actions of his time as the Winter Soldier. Tony was a antagonist in CW, not a hero. Unfortunately, not even the writers knew what they were doing so they tried to portray Tony heroically in CW, thus diminishing his status as a heroic figure.

Sorry for the rant, but I've come to nearly despise CW, especially for ruining Tony Stark for me. His existence in the next Spider-Man film really sours my interest in it.

This is my favorite. Amazing how Howard Shore managed to weave so many themes organically into 1 song. Off the top of my head we get:

- Rivendell
- Gandalf
- Lorien
- Isengard
- The Shire
- Dol Guldur
- Mordor

 

Must be terrible then. Seriously my preferences sometimes feel like the opposite of critics

 

Ross is a morally grey character - I don't see him as a pure villain. TIH's villain was Abomination IMO. You were misinterpreting Tony. He didn't say what they were doing is wrong. He said they need to be held accountable because of the high amounts of collateral damage their battles produced (Harlem, New York, London, Washington, Sokovia, Lagos).

Steve broke the law. Team Iron Man was completely right in trying to bring him in. He was aiding a fugitive under investigation. He hadn't been sentenced or anything, but he was a suspect, and Cap had violated American law due to his own personal feelings. That's dangerously naive, because Cap is human. He is fallible.

For Winter Soldier, Tony wasn't thinking rationally. It wasn't right but he was ticked off because Cap kept the knowledge from him for 2 years. You could tell how close he was with his mom.
