I think I'm gonna have a marathon of all the transformers movies this week starting with the first one RIGHTNOWW Although I'm kinda hungry so I need fooood!

I just mistook a pile of cardboard boxes in my house for some random guy sitting on the floor and I just about had a heart attack..

I think you're missing a movie. Sure, some might argue that it isn't as important because it isn't one of the numbered saga entries or some such nonsense. But it was made with enough technical skill and care to count don't you?

It showed us a key confrontation between the Rebels and the Empire that we were missing but some of us had dreamed of since seeing the original film back when we were kids, and to others a story they didn't know they wanted. Introducing us to a unit of interesting characters that we might've thought were merely tertiary sidenotes until finally getting to see them in action. But the cameos of the previously introduced characters are well placed. Sure, one of them may look a little off but come on. They couldn't help what happens to the actors off camera. They did what they could to try and make him look right.

Not to mention how it has one of the most emotionally powerful reunions between a long separated father and child put to film. And how could it not be the most awesome showing for the coolest masked villain in the Star Wars universe, where we truly get to see him in all his glory. And that ending bit where we get to see Leia as she delivers onto us the major theme of the piece, whose heart doesn't stop every time they watch it?

And for those of you who have forgotten the power of that moment, here's a reminder.

Sure we could argue all day about if there was a little bit too much hopping around in the story and whether or not we got into each character's backstory as much as we could. But there's no doubt that at it's highs, it's easily some of if not the best our beloved franchise has had to offer.

I'm a little late, but my sleep is ****** up AGAIN. So, any other Harry Potter fans here? Depending on my mood, it sometimes swings as high as 2nd place on my list of favourite films (only read the first two books)

 

Got through the first four books myself. Should probably get around to finishing them one of these days now that I'm thinking about it. But yeah, I liked those movies too!

Well, i havent read the books or watched the movies in years, but i guess i counts as a HP fan. You should finish the rest of the books btw, they have so much detail that the movies just leave out (some cases its justified others not) which really enhance the overall story.

 

Got to love Harry Potter, I am off to the HP Studios in August...again!!

Darsk and I are currently in a cafe in Verona, we visited Juliet's balcony today as well as a National History Museum, it was very interesting besides the fact it was all in Italian with no English translation

We are heading home Friday, can't believe how fast the holiday has gone! Hope you are all doing well?
