PT Rethink Your Life: A New Hope - PT Social Thread

The possibility of a Kenobi film starring Ewan McGregor is very exciting. Hopefully this becomes reality.

Some ideas of things I hope to see if this film is made:

*Set after ROTS and before ANH

*Kenobi battles a Krayt dragon, reminiscent of Geonosis arena battle.

*Kenobi saves homestead from Tusken Raider attack, mirror of Anakin in AOTC.

*Possible mission to Dagobah to meet with Master Yoda and receive further training and/or vital information about the Empires' plans.

*Communing with Qui-Gon's Force ghost, and further Jedi training.

*Conflict with the Hutts, Boba Fett, or other various scum in Mos Eisley.

*Communication with Bail on Alderaan.

*Other, behind the scenes, interactions with Rebel leaders/spies.

*Surreptitiously using the Force to save a very young Luke from some threat.

*Verbal confrontation with Uncle Owen.

Anyhow, just some ideas. I do think it would be cool to have Kenobi forced to leave Tatooine on an urgent mission.

As for a prequel story about Kenobi's childhood/early apprenticeship or something like that, with another actor playing the role, I'm definitely NOT interested in that right now.

Ewan McGregor is one of the best actors in SW history, playing one of the best characters, and he simply must be in any Kenobi film.

What do y'all want to see?

2 Weeks till Force Friday!!

 

I'm pretty sure part of the James Luceno "Dark Lord" novel centred on two Jedi who survived Order 66 attempting to rescue one of the Petition of 2,000 senators (albeit neither was Obi-wan). Kenobi carrying out one last mission for Bail Organa and the fledgling Rebel movement, before going into seclusion on Tatooine for the long run, would be a nice route to take this movie IMO. Also: If Obi-wan learns that Vader survived Mustafar during the climax of the film, I think that would be a nice touch.

V-Wings, Sith Infiltrators, Yoda's TCW ship!

There are so many great games coming out this year, SWBFII, AC Origins, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Sonic Forces, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Obduction on PS4 (I tried to install it on my laptop, but it was too weak to play it)!

It's far from perfect but there's still enough to enjoy. You'll probably find it worth your time overall since you're already pretty deep into the series.
