Yeah, I enjoyed it. It's included at the end of the TFA paperback I bought. I'm thinking I might reread Bazine's story as it was quite good. I'm reading the new SW: From a Certain Point of View right now. It is sooooo good, let me tell you. Amazing book, great concept.

Yes, Canto Bight sounds intriguing too. After I finish From a Certain Point of View, I was going to reread Tales From Jabba's Palace, as I skipped several stories on my first go round. CB sounds like it might be similar to TFJP.

 

I really want that from a certain point of view book! And if I remember correctly it's a bunch of short stories right? My attention span may actually be able to get through that easier.

 

I want From A Certain Point of View too. ANH told from Qui-Gon's POV is beautimous.

 

Oh, you're gonna love it.
It's 40 stories by 40 different authors. The book is only about 460 pages.
I'm 150 pages in so far and I've had the book for two days with not much time to read. It is so good!

 

FRIGGING 40?

 

Only 460 pages?! Sign me up! I was going to read War and Peace this weekend, but now I've found something better!

Yeah, some years the frigging was good, other years, not so much, but through it all, it was always Star Wars

Things I like about TFA... hmm, things I like about TFA? Let me think:

1. Kylo's Lightsaber - I really like the crossblade design, and it's in-universe backstory of having a damaged crystal or whatnot. I also liked how they tied it in in Rebels, by having the ancient Jedi using crossblades, showing how it's an archaic design that Kylo's forced to use due to his inexperience.

2. BB-8 - I do like BB-8, he design is strong. But I can't shake the feeling he's just a de-fanged R2. R2 has moments of sass, a nice mildly antagonistic relationship with 3PO. BB-8 is just sweet and innocent and much more boring that R2. He also doesn't really do anything memorable in the whole movie. He doesn't save the day once, or get put in any personal danger. His presence in the final battle is invisible. So, while I like his design, the rest of him is lacking so far. I guess that's a partial like.

3. Lego TFA - Yeah, the video game. It's a really fun one, the extra story levels are fun. I especially liked the mission with Lor San Tekka, and his awesome bounty hunter friend Athgar Heece (is it just me, or does he look way more awesome in lego form?)



And, that's about it. Yeah, didn't like much from TFA.
