Was going to post lonely gifs but wow they're all so sad. Why are the cartoon ones, Charlie Brown, SpongeBob, Simpsons, Eeyore the saddest?!

I'm okay, should be finishing a paper due tomorrow & studying for an exam. How are things on the farm EJC? Any fun animal stories to relay?

 

Man, I can guarantee you that their would be some folks who would hail that moment as a "masterpiece"

Good- things are going smoothly

Their haven't really been many fun stories to tell, but I did find it kinda weird how yesterday the Mare we have at the farm (a female Horse in case you don't know ) was gruffing and since it was kinda warm I assumed she was thirsty- filled the bucket full of water till I could barely lift it- then gave it to her. When I went back to see, Sara had knocked out the bucket and the water was all gone So I guess I never knew what she was complaining about

 

Sure hope not. After this Solo movie, it would be great to never retread, rehash that run of the mill character again. As for Luke and Leia, let it be. After IX, it's time to move on, imo. No more about those people, seriously. Let the OT live on without constantly making nearly every new piece somehow connected to it. Move along.

"That run of the mill character"? Han is a run of the mill character?! He's an archetype, sure, but run of the mill? Did we watch the same movie? Luke was supposed to be the no-personality everyman.

That's cool Huttese 101 Glad you like him. I'm tired of the big three and especially Han clogging up all these stories in the EU and the new canon. The movies too etc... I'm so over it. Han is also in Indiana Jones and Blade Runner.
Gets pretty old after awhile.

Don't mind me. I've become bitter after Carrie Fisher died which is a terrible tragedy IRL and for SW. I miss her so.
Couple that with how Luke was treated in TFA and it's pretty sad, tbh.
Han reverting back to pre ROTJ mode is lame. I knew he would die before I saw the film and he deserved it. He is a deadbeat dad.

Plus, the entire history of SW media, books, comics, films, etc is so clogged with stories about Han Solo it's actually beyond overkill. I love the new canon comics, but it's seriously annoying to have Han constantly interrupting the other really creative story arcs featuring aliens, bounty hunters, force users, and Sith etc...
Same old snarky comments, arc etc. If you've seen ANH and TESB you've seen it all. Boring as hell.
I wish Han was truly dead and would go away. You can see his character archetype in nearly every other type of movie anyway.

I always assumed RYL, more likely than anywhere else, would embrace having more stories about unique, one of a kind, rare and diverse characters than just the run of the mill white male cowboy outlaw, especially since he has been done to death, quite literally thank you Kylo, and yet we still get another film.

Nothing.
His best role was in The Fugitive, btw.

Also What Lies Beneath. He is awesome in that one.
Raiders, of course. Top notch.
Witness was good, if I remember, only saw it once. Oh, and the original Blade Runner was gangbusters. Many others too. Great actor.
