I just saw some theory that the youngling the camera focused on in ROTS grew up to be Snoke

 

LOL in awe, surely.

I know the movie is controversial, but I'm interested in the meaning behind it, just like with A Space Odyssey.

 

That sounds amazing Evening Star Glad you got to see that. Stanley was an excellent still photographer. Made the cover of Look magazine while still in high school; picture of an old man mourning the death of FDR, I believe.

I know many were dissapointed with The Shining. I'm fascinated by the camera work in that film. Steadicam. The lighting. The use of pre-existing "classical" music like Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste. I liked Nicholson's portrayal of Torrance as well.

A Clockwork Orange was my #1 favorite film for years, because of the layered symbolism underneath the surface. Not the rape & violence.
It still is one of my favorites, but there's also many others.
The Shining being one of them! ahem
(especially when considering it was filmed simultaneously with ESB at Elstree Studios).

 

I would love to have a discussion on this topic, in an appropriate area.

There's a lot to go into, and it's hard to know where to start.

 

This is an appropriate area for discussing many things some might consider to be unnatural. Have you ever heard the tale of Darth Kubrick the Wise? He had such a knowledge of the camera that Scorsese, Spielberg and Lucas tried to kill him in his sleep.

Just realizing that, at this present moment, Attack of the Clones is my #2 favorite Star Wars film.
I'm fascinated by the themes it explores. So much to analyze in this film. GOAT Kamino aliens and wicked Zam. And goat Kenobi, ftw. Anakin's arc is brilliantly sad. Hayden's acting is top notch. Padme is the jewel of the saga. Perfect. Plus Count Dooku's awesomeness and Yoda going crazy with his Jedi skills.
Mace Windu on Geonosis! Hell yeah! All the Jedi cameos.
I could talk about how incredible Attack of the Clones is for hours. Thank you Mr. Lucas and company!

While i don't mind if you were to use my banner, isn't your channel more about all of star wars? Wouldn't a banner more similar to the one you already have fit more, since its more inclusive to star wars characters of the saga, while mine is mostly just about the droids of the trade federation and CIS.

But i do give you my permission to use it if you want, glad you liked it so much you want it as your own youtube banner

 

It does have a broad view, my channel, with music from lots of films and games. But it's primarily for Clone Wars or Prequel music, so the Trade Federation and Separatists feel like a natural fit. Plus it's a really cool banner.

But, because they're two of the only things you hear in the movie, and there's such a buildup to them, they become very significant."
