Definitely an Everything-er for me, including the HS, TCW, Rebels and Legends/EU.

 

There should definitely be a Lucas purist subset

 

I'm more of an "Anything but not necessarily Everything, Holiday Special subset. Lucas-centered but not necessarily Lucas Purist."

In other words, don't put me in a box.

 

yeah I guess I'm more of a, "I'm cool with it all even though I don't like it all but I definitely like the HS and Jar Jar doesn't bother me much but midichlorians were a bad idea, RotS is the worst of the PT, Thrawn trilogy is not that good and Ewoks are awesome."

 

Here is how I would group the Star Wars fandom

The First Generation
- Subset: OT fans (like the OT, TFA, and sometimes the PT)
- Subset: OOT fans (like the OOT, sometimes TFA, and hate the PT)

The Second Generation
- Subset: Saga fans (fans of the Lucas 6)
- Subset: Lucas fans (fans of the Lucas 6 and Clone Wars)

The Third Generation
- Subset: Disney fans (Currently growing up on Rogue One, TFA, and Rebels)

Everythingers (these people like everything about Star Wars)

EU Fans (usually like all the movies but hate that Disney ripped the EU from them)

But really, grouping people into categories is the problem with fandom! These of course are not meant to be strict guidelines, I'm only posting this for discussion purposes with my PT fam.

 

I actually belong to the "MOAR SY SNOOTLES (yet still think Jedi Rocks is a terrible song)!!!" category

Guilty Pleasure or not, I like Jedi Rocks (maybe it's because I grew up with that song, I don't know)

Still, even you can't deny me that the harmonica at the beginning is the sickest, most awesome thing ever

 

You know I treasure you and your approach to SW, but I'm afraid I can and must deny the awesomeness of the harmonica.

 

Here's something I'm pretty sure almost everyone here agrees on.

Prequels > TFA

 

I watched the first 40 minutes of RotJ on VHS yesterday and in spite of the poor tape quality, I definitely prefer the original music in Jabba's palace to the SE changes. I like the sound mix better than the blu ray too.

 

"Jedi Rocks" kind of makes me feel embarrassed every time it plays when I watch the movie.

 

ANY LOVE FOR JEDI ROCKS HERE????

 

LOL. Yeah, I didn't mean to start an assault on Jedi Rocks.

 

Except me.

It's not the music change that bothers me the most. It's the fact that Sy's lips are now only in a computer. I want those lips to be real. I usually don't care much about the practical vs cgi **** but in this case I do.

 

I liked Jedi Rocks almost as much as Da Hutt Moda

 

And that means I like it!

But I also quite like Lapti Nek
