Okay, so I'm taking a class on German cinema this semester and one of our "homework" assignments will be to watch Star Wars (i.e. ANH). And in English, at that. It's on the syllabus.

 

Sounds like a rough day of class.

 

Ugh. You don't know the half of it. And later in the semester we'll have to watch Jaws. This week it's Young Frankenstein.

Well, most of our grade depends on writing assignments and our final project. "That complicates things."

A Star Wars assignment, that's cool. I'm sure you'll pass with flying colors.

Just started Season 4 of The Clone Wars.

I just saw that episode where George Lucas's character makes an appearance with his family, kinda cool.

Lol you should pretend to have half-paid attention and talk about Luke Skyrunner fighting Dark Vador with glowsticks and just vaguely skim over events like when Hans Solo has to save Princess Leila

 

Teach, I've seen films from one side of the alphabet to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never see anything to me believe that there's one all powerful film that started everything. 'Cause no amount of movie magic controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

 

The Citadel trilogy is really underrated. Probably because it follows the Savage and Mortis trilogies.

I wish Master Piell hadn't, you know, though.

 

I feel the run from Nightsisters to Citadel Rescue is the strongest run of 9 episodes in the whole series.

I just watched the Citadel trilogy this morning. Since then I've been playing TFU. I'm about to fight Shaak Ti.

 

Well getting ready to go back to school in a bit. Feels like only yesterday winter break started.

Watched the Trandoshan slavers duology. So satisfying seeing a Wookie army beat the crap out of those slavers.
