Oh good gosh. Daisy Ridley deserves so much better than that.

 

I can't like this post enough times. Kevin Murphy is hilarious, and it's stupid jokes like this that give me the will to live.

 

Oh and guys, James Cameron speaks his thoughts on TFA, and they mirror mine pretty closely. It's clear that it's not just us PT fanboys/girls that love the original six but had a problem with Episode VII

I mean, the whole Rifftrax of the PT is hilarious. Mean spirited, yes. But still hilarious. Midway through TPM, think it was during the dinner scene at Anakin's hut, Kevin is just so fed up with Jar Jar that he says "Go to hell".

 

Yeah, I didn't love them overall (actually I don't know if I watched more than one), because they went so negative, and I just...maybe can't take anymore of it directed at the PT at this point in my life. But, as a longtime MST3K fan I get what they were trying to do. I mean, that IS kind of the point of the whole Rifftrax/MST3K/Cinematic Titanic thing.

Plus I could never stay mad at Tom Servo, even if he did make fun of the PT.

 

He obviously knows what he's talking about. Couldn't agree more.

 

I love Siouxsie and the Cure (not as much as Nick Cave though) but I am glad I don't dress like that anymore

Interesting link, DS. For myself, it wasn't even the "familiarity" of the basic plot outline that disappointed me so much. It was that the overall feel and look in too many places felt too "unfamiliar" (as compared to the GL films). And that's what I'm afraid cannot be rectified in any future installments, for obvious reasons...
