208, I get and respect that it was disappointing for you. But you are using a lot of hyperbole and not accepting the fact of different points of view or perspectives. Or, at least, that's the way your past few posts have read. And this is the kinda crap that has been hurled at PT fans. All I'm trying to get across to you is that you oughta think of that before you hit post when criticizing any SW film in front of its fans.

As far as I can tell, the only SW movies that ever came out that fans nowadays can't really object to are the original and The Empire Strikes Back.

As soon as Disney bought Lucasfilm and announced a sequel trilogy, I felt a little nervous. The stakes were always too high for me, so I can't say the outcome ever surprised me. There was always a ~60% I wouldn't like it. I mean, I literally posted "I have a bad feeling about this" on FB the day news of the sale broke.

    Re: the bolded: yep

Also yep. But RO looks very promising! And anyways I can't do anything about it. I never owned SW. Life goes on, the only constant is change etc.

    Bit slow round 'ere.

Anyway, for those of you who enjoyed 'The Newcastle Song', I've another Aussie classic from my local radio station:
Disappointingly, they somehow managed to miss out on Wagga Wagga.
And there's also another song that perhaps is appropriate to this thread site:

A Happy Monday morning to you all from the two biggest dorks in the galaxy. And that's saying something, because I've seen enough of the Star Wars universe to know it's a pretty competitive category.

Oooh. Heat and storms. Would much rather that than the 7 degrees and drizzle weather we're having. If it's not going to be warm, it could at least be properly cold and snow.

I actually like rain. It's calming. Even if it is thundering and whatnot. And cools the air a bit. Also corn is delicious

I don't mind rain as long as I'm not in the middle of it and getting soaked.

Although around the rainy season it does rain a little too much I think, especially near the city. But well, I guess you get that when you are not too far from one of the rainiest regions in the world.
