I really love Edgar Allen Poe. Sounds like that except usually it's about how you can murder them and hide them in various structures.

I also really liked The Cask of Amontillado (where he bricks a guy into a wall for little discernible reason) but my favorite is Masque of the Red Death.

I've read only The Black Cat and The Tell-Tale Heart, for school of course. Also, Annabel Lee and The Raven. I'm not into that genre, although I really like his admirer Charles Baudelaire.

The Cask of Amontillado is a great story. I have the first line memorized.

"The thousand injuries of Fortunato I had borne as I best could, but when he ventured upon insult I vowed revenge."
