I know, I know. But it's not the Super Bowl.

 

But each team only plays 16 games in the regular season. One NFL win is equivalent to roughly 10 MLB wins.

I'm not in a position to comment on the validity of that statement.

 

What I'm trying to say is, the stakes of regular season games are higher in the NFL than they are in almost every other sport.

I must confess as a Brit I have trouble with sport acronyms on which sport it is

 

NFL is football. I mean not football but football as in not soccer.

 

more brain damage from UFC fighting, Boxing and probably just as much with soccer. ( I read an article once that everytime a player headballs in soccer, its like they've gotten a mini-concussion, and across the board soccer players score far below average on certain cognitive and math skills)

anyway, I guess what I'm saying is, I wish those that are able to bring these issues to our attention didn't only concentrate on clients and industries that could net them the most $$$ in damages.

Yes people get hurt in the NFL, but people get hurt just as much if not more in many other sports, including Boxing, MMA, BMX, motorcross, skygliding, Nascar, skateboarding, snowboarding, formula 1, soccer, Rugby.. I wish people would quit making those of us who enjoy football feel guilty (even if they are just being facetious)
