OOC Return of the Forgotten Ones OOC/Discussion Thread

Figured I should go ahead and do this. So here we go, a place where we can have OOC discussions, and (for now) a roll call on who is interested.

Hmm...that is an interesting race.

 

One query for chewing over - does it stand to reason that every Jedi who volunteered to become a chocolate popsicle for several generations would know one another or would be at least close acquaintances? If we're talking a sort of "time capsule" thing here it stands to reason from psychology that you'd send people who knew each other rather than a pack of strangers. Unless it was a really last-minute emergency thing. Any insights there?

 

All of us (I use that term lightly since I'm debating doing a Jedi-sicle NPC) know each other to some extent. To what extent I'll leave to you guys when we start posting the CS's. In other words...some of them may be BFF's, while the others you barely know.


(though yes, we do all know each other with the exception of the Modern Jedi)

Well Saint was right. It only makes sense that we (the Jedi-sicles) all know each other to a certain extent. What's going to be more fun is figuring out how we're going to handle the hibernation sickness. Judicious use of time-skips maybe?

(after all, a bunch of blind/possibly sick Jedi does not a fun game make, unless we go full-bore on 'character based')

(so I know a little better on how to write the Mod-Jedi (Modern Jedi) reactions...after all, a handful of Jedi-sicles will get a reaction, but a whole room full of them will get much more of a reaction)

EDIT: So now we have at least 7 players. Better than I was expecting with how new this idea is.

The RP itself is in the RPF. Title is the same (other than having 'The' at the front).

EDIT: Another note...we have a player joining as a Droid that was left to guard the Jedi-sicles. It works since the Jedi (even if they were careless enough to forget about their comrades back on Tython) would have left something behind in case they were revived.

Well...this game is getting a LOT more interest than I ever expected it too. That being said, if anyone is having troubles with a CS, by all means, post in here so we (most likely me ) can help.

Also, would anyone (and I mean anyone) interested in joining please post in here? I need an idea of how many players I can expect, that way I know if I should put a player cap soon.

 

Protip: I'd seriously consider a player cap sooner rather than later, Sky. Eight people is a big catalogue of players to look after.

Just wanted to give a heads up for any possible late comers. I do believe that we have everyone who is going to join though.

EDIT: I think I'll set the cap at 10, for now. We'll see how I handle that, and if I can we can add more. Or get a Co-GM.

 

Mitth_Fisto, any interest in taking Pakoon on as a Padawan? You have to admit they'd make an interesting pair, and our combat & force skills seem to be complementary.

 

Looking at the PM's, I have 7 confirmed people right now. So we have 3 open slots for anyone who wants to join
