"Return of the Ghostbusters" TEASER online.

I wanted the teaser to seem like the opening of some cheesy TV show. No effects shots are ready for this teaser as we are still only 70% done with principle.

Yes--and that should make for an excellent film. He's the best, IMO.

Ha ha! I never noticed that...that totally rocks. Boromir was the bomb. It was a travesty when he died...

No, I just thought that would be funny. In addition, driving all over Denver for the past two months with the Ghostbusters mobile is prime advertising.

(3) Most importantly, how'd you get those rockin' car decals?

Back when I asked for volunteers, I got tons of responses for all kinds of things. One guy was a graphics designer for a NASCAR (tried to convince me to make the new Ecto a stock car). He loves Ghostbusters and designed the logos, and I printed them out on adhesive vinyl via FastSigns.

The number of people who have worked on this thing in some aspect is enormous. We've filmed in a movie theater, three fire stations, the state capitol building, and a meat packing plant to name a a few. All free because people just want to help.

 

Great stuff - looking forward to see how this one turns out.

PS - I dunno if any of you guys are wrestling fans but there's a female wrestler/model with the name of April Hunter. Don't know if that was at all intentional, but I got a kick out of it.

 

Holy monkeys Hank after watching that teaser all I can say is that the screenshots didn't do it justice by any stretch of the imagination. Everything is bigger and better than FVGB, and I can't wait.

Looks fun guys and I look forward to seeing the final. you can tell you guys have worked hard on this. Ghostbusters is a classic and I love the fact it's got some fan film support going on. Now how about a serious trailer next.. I mean I would like to see full out, make me want to see this, as if it was coming out in the theater trailer. I would love to see how close to the real deal you can get. Or not do what you want, but I look forward to seeing this one and hopefully enjoying. Thanks for sharing guys!

 

There will be a real trailer in a couple months, but I just thought this was fun. Actually, it's not even really a teaser. Teasers don't usually have actual footage of the movie in it. I can't really say what caused me to cut it this way; it definitely calls for mixed reactions. I just don't want to make a serious, get-your-butt-in-the-seat trailer until most of the effects shots are finished.
