Interesting because it's one of few images where Mara has freckles.

 

I've seen it before, but I hadn't noticed the freckles. I love it - but I can't explain why; Mara's boosty, she wears that karked catsut and in many ways she looks like a posing schoolgirl. But I still love it! Well, logics and likes don't always play well together

 

That's funny, kataja, I have a very similar reaction - she has on the catsuit I hate, her hair is totally out of control, and she even kinda reminds me of an actress I don't like. Yet for some reason I rather like the image. Must be something about the style that it just sort of works.

Really? She looks much like JG there I think. But anyways, she works very well. I've always pictured Mara with traits much like KB's, maybe because she looks a lot like the Japanese book covers But I don't think she has charisma enough for the role if she'd have to act.

 

I am definitely a fan of Mara Jade.

Who's for seeing Mara Jade in Disney's Star Wars 7 ?!!

Then again, Disney and Mara Jade may not go together well.

 

I won't see Episode 7. If George gives any input...he might make Luke a Bachelor hermit. And I would be afraid of who they would chose to play Mara. I think many of us would be upset (we can't even agree on one actress among ourselves, do you think we'd like who Disney chose?) Or worse...they could make Luke married to a new character, if he was married. I'll stick to fanfiction, where Disney doesn't have any input in my writing. Love Disney, but they ruined the Pirates of the Caribbean ride the last time I was at WDW. And they changed Star Tours, so if I ever go back, it won't be the classic ride anymore.

Episode 7 needs to at least mention her marriage to Luke if nothing else...because who wants Luke's only kiss to have been with his sister.

 

Love her! She was the definition of amazing in Sacrifice. To bad she's gone. She would've made a good master for Allana, I wish she had gotten to meet her.

Mara HAS to appear In the ST. It's a must.

My favorite is of course the Thrawn series. Stackpole did a decent job writing her in I, Jedi. My other favorite is Survivor's Quest. It really shows how Luke and Mara work well both as a team and as husband and wife. But if you really want a great series on Mara Jade, check out the Mara Jade: By the Emperor's Hand graphic novel written by both Zahn and Stackpole.

 

Her fight against Lumiya was just amazing.

 

If you want her in the mpovie, toy have to call Lucasfilm, and you have to tell your friends, and their friends, and so on to call.

 

There is nothing amazing about needlessly killing off Mara Jade.
