and mara jade fans have to lobby lucasfilm, and del rey, they have to organize, and get active again or her character will be ignored in future media.

thank you, it seems that mara jade has completely vanished from the eu, their are no plans for her, and no stories to fill in her missing years, and her fans have become silent, and apathetic

I remember Jade Crusades from back in the day. It's great that you are keeping a part of it alive!

 

I could see her granddaughter being named after her. And also inheriting her red hair.

 

I think it's logical that if Luke has a wife in the next movie, that it will be a version of Mara Jade, You type in Luke Skywalker's wife in any search enfine, you get Mara, and if would cause confusion, if he's married to someone with a different name in the movie.

 

Of course the new movies will change the eu, when the first movie comes out, as the eu, attempts to integrate with the new movies.

That's who I call a Mara Jade fan!

As far as answering this, I don't believe Force ghosts could be linked to a clone of the original Jedi. As I understood from ROTS, it took Obi Wan several years to perfect speaking with his old Master, Qui Gon. Don't know if it's ever been brought up, but maybe Obi Wan could see Qui Gon as a Force ghost during those years on Tatooine. But since a clone isn't part of the original makeup of the person, and the fact that the clone wouldn't have the training to fade into the Force or vice versa, I don't think it would be possible for a presence to be rejoined with a clone. That also flys in the face of having Mara appear as a Force ghost. When would she have the time to learn to do this? Not to mention the concentration required to not fade into the Force until a specific time (ie, enter Jacen "Sith-Wanabe").

Now, as far as fading out of the Force, I believe Jacen managed to do just that and taught Ben how to do the same. I played with this theme with Mara too in my story, The Purpose of Mara Jade Skywalker (I know, shameless plug; but it applies).

 

I thionk fans should call Lucasfilm, Bad Robot Productions, and disney, and see to it that the name of Luke's wife is Mara Jade, they told me that they'd respond if a lot of her fans called, wrote, and organized, i've begun a twitter campaign, but I need her fanbase to join me.
I'm already sending a mara Jade action figure to JJ abrams, as well as zahn's books, and GN's with her,
but it needs more then just one fan. we have to organize, and take action. i'm on twitter at
