Hey everybody! This story has been sitting in my files for almost 2 years. So I thought I'd post it now! Here goes.

Reunion Ch. 1
?Hey, Jay, we need- JACEN!!!!!? Darra exclaimed as the door opened halfway through her question.
?You?re ALIVE!?!? Jake asked similarly stunned.
?Heh, last time I checked.? Jacen responded to Jake?s question.
?B-but??
?Haven't changed a bit have you??
?Guess not, so how?d Leia take it?? Darra intercepted.
?Oh, like a mom I guess.?
?Tenel Ka?? She asked with a raise of her eyebrows.
?She doesn?t know yet.?
?What!?! You mean you haven't commed her or anything?!?
?Well, the truth is, I?m kind of nervous.?
?Nervous?! She?s the girl you've loved you whole life!!!!? Jake finally spoke up.
?Not his whole life, Jake, you have to be precise.? Came a familiar voice behind them.
?There you are Jay!! Where?ve you been, we?ve been looking for you all over?!?
?Since Jacen came back he's been staying with me and Zekk, and well you?d never believe how much he eats!!?
?Ohh, trust me I believe you, I live with three of them remember.?
?Speaking of, where?re Josh and DJ?? Zekk asked from behind some floating groceries.
?Hey Zekk. They're off finding some more people for the squadron, as we?ve got a few openings.?
?Darra, I just found a solution to Jacen?s problem and ours!!!? Jake suddenly exclaimed.
?Why don?t you guys come inside and then we?ll talk about my life right in front of me, as if I?m not even here." Jacen spoke up from the doorway.
?Sorry Jace.? They all went inside and sat down on chairs and couches. Together Jake and Darra sprawled across the three seater couch that had always been their seat. As Jaina and Zekk went to put the groceries away Jake outlined his plan to Darra and Jacen.
?So let me get this straight, I join Wolf Squadron and go with you to Hapes on you?re mission, damping down my force presence to just seem like any old pilot. We get an audience with Tenel Ka and I reveal myself, correct?? Jacen asked for clarification.
?Correct.? Jake answered nodding.
?One question, what about you?re negotiations??
?We?ll get to those after you?re guyses reunion.? Darra spoke up.
?Also, who?s gonna train the new recruits while your gone?? Jaina asked, coming out of the kitchen
?That?s what we came to ask you, Jay. Could you help Josh and DJ, their pretty new at this thing??
?You?re cruel; you know I can?t turn you down when you ask like that!!!?
?I?ll take that as a yes.? Darra said an evil grin on her face.

He couldn?t believe he was going through with this; he had just escaped from the Vong and was now going see the only girl that could tie him in knots with a glance.
?Hey, Jace, you ready for this?? Darra asked over the helmet comm.

?We just got clearance, Wolf 5. So let?s blow this joint!!!?
?You know what we need?? Jake asked from his X-wing.
