It means Plant can swing his mike around a bit. Not to Daltrey levels, though. Just something you never see these days outside of local band small gigs, and it brought a smile to my face.

OK yes I will give you the lead singer mic swing, alá Daltrey. And for the record, you see that when Pearl Jam plays. Ed still uses a corded mic. I was more poo pooing the dismissal of wireless rigs for guitar players.

 

i once poo-pooed on a wireless rig. the guitarist was really, really upset and chased me for at least four blocks if not five.

 

Maybe wireless would interfere with the theremin.
