Roch, NY Revelations Viewing Party - May 7th at 6pm (Greece)

I don't know if any of us have seen it in full,
but it was mentioned yesterday that we may want to organize a viewing party to watch the fanfilm.

Is there any interest in pulling something together?

 

I'd like to see it... with popcorn

 

We might want to check the disc first to see if it'll play OK...
Yesterday (and maybe the disc just didn't like the laptop) I wasn't able to get it to play through - it locked up and I couldn't get it to go again.
I'd hate to gather everyone for a viewing and then not be able to watch the whole thing.

If there is a problem with the disc, I have a copy of it on my computer and could probably burn it to a DVD for you guys. Just a thought.

Still haven't tested the DVD in a machine other than the laptop yet.

Given enough notice to get all of Connor's toys out of the way we could have it at our house.

I'd love to do it sometime before I have to go back home. I just booked my flight today, and it is for May 9th. There is a very large possibility that the day or two preceding it, I'll already be in Rochester with a friend before my flight. So if we wanted to do it on let's say Sunday, May 7th, that could work perfect. Just my $0.02.

 

May 7th would work for us now that the Syracuse Comic Expo has changed dates.

Just bumping this up to see how many folks we should be expecting May 7th. I was figuring 6pm for the time. We can order a pizza and I'll have munchies, but folks might want to bring their own beverages as we don't have much past water, juice & milk.

That movie was a great fan film. I am always amazed at what can be done by fans and volunteers like that. It was great seeing everyone since I do not get to many events anymore. Thanks for having us and for the pizza Doc_Bev and knightshade. Thanks again for the photo CD.

 

We'll have to do that again sometime since KS and I missed some parts of it.
Hopefully Connor wasn't too distracting to everyone else - he was having a rough day.
