Sorry Andy, Kung Pow is dead!
.....Aw, I made myself sad.
I'm sure it's all just a dream, Andy, no worries. You'll wake up with a scruffy man with big bulging eyes saying "Wake up, Andy. It's time to wake up!" over and over again really desperately.
If that's what I'll wake up to I think I'll stay asleep. My dreams are more fun than reality anyway.
Oh, and for those of you who are thinking that Riley and Sierra are insane....er, they are talking about an episode of Futurama that we watched tonight.
Well now that elections are over, let's do a victory party.
I've got the party poppers.
I want food. Who's bringing the popcorn?
*stares at mary*
Why do I have to bring the popcorn?
*saunters in, looking suave and devinare, and heads for the bar*
*pulls an elaborite series of yanks on the foutain, and POPS the top of the bar with a closed fist*
*watches as his secret cache of Mt Dew accends through the floor*
I thought this place would never open back up. Let's celebrate.
*hands andy the first of the mt dews in a toast*

"basicly floridians are happy people, the live in the sunshine state after all..."
-- the gecko
Huzzah! Thanks. I wonder what other secrets this place holds.
*walks over to a book shelf full of star wars novels and comics and quickly pulls one of the books out, expecting a secret passageway to open up.*
*Looks around embarrassed and drinks his mountain dew.*
Oh well, it was worth a try. Welcome back! It's been way too long.
You bring the popcorn, Mary, becuase, uh... uh... uh... The Force compells you. ^_^
Welcome back, person I'm not sure I know who you are.
HUZZAH! It's Derek
Sierra you might want to watch Riley. He had a thing for Derek years ago.
Who didn't have a thing for Derek?
Very true and the he goes and moves off to Florida and forgets us all. *sobs*
Ack, one of the non perks to not being blue, you get the 1 minute per post message.
There's one of those? Lame!
Yeah, you can post and post all you want as a VIP and not get the 1 minute per post warning. I knew there was a reason I kept that there for so long.
So how many people here would be interested in the laser tag idear?
I'm interested. course your in charge, you can just force people to do it.
Good point. OK everyone, we are absolutely doing the laser tag idea and everyone has to come. I'll call Laser Quest and get all the information we need. I've already looked up their site and they have some group packages that look very interesting. If we get enough participants, I would like to see if we can rent the facilities for 3 1/2 hours. Just imagine that. We probably wont do this until April so that people have enough time to plan ahead. I think this could be fun and I hope you agree. EVERYONE is invited so bring the family if you want.
Soooo... yeah... I just called Laser Quest and that 3 1/2 hours of exclusive play with food and drinks provided where we basically rent the whole place would cost $1,700. lol, so unless someone wants to fork over that much money, how bout we just do the regular thing and only pay $7.50 per person. The other prices were $585 for 4 exclusive games, $435 for 3 games, and $165 for 1 game. If we don't go with a group deal (and I doubt we will at those prices)I'll still call about two weeks in advance to make sure that the place won't already be booked. The girl I talked to said that they don't ever book anything three weeks in advance so for now we're good. We just have to see how many people want to join in the fun and we can go from there.
Good call on the $7.50 a person. I like that a whole lot better.
::enters lounge, looks around::
::blows dust off of bar top, and sets down two 2-liter bottles - one diet Coke, the other diet Coke with lime::
I brought a peace offering.
::looks around, wondering if there's an entrance to the Batcave-- er, legendary under-the-city cave in here, somewhere::
::cracks open the diet Coke with Lime, and begins to drink... alone::
Maybe one of my socks will join me. hmmmmmm...
::breaks out the showtunes::
We'll start with the classic "Think of Me" from Phantom of the Opera, and continue with "I Feel Pretty" from My Fair Lady, followed by "16 going on 17" from The Sound of Music.
pitch, Maestro. thank you.
Actually... (to the tune of "Star Wars")
