Talked to the manager at the Flicks. She said it was unlikely we could get it to work but she'd check into it for me. If all else fails, a good friend of mine has a digital projector and screen. We could just borrow those and do it ourselves without the hassle of going through the theatre. If I hear back and it doesn't look good, I'll just plan on going this route. More to come...

 

how big is the screen? just curious... there is an inflatable screen I saw in one of my trade magazines that I want to get, but I haven't gotten the details on it yet. Looks close to theare size, which could mean it's pretty spendy.

for your "event" 7 feet or more should be a good size. Check with the in house A/V at the Double Tree Hotel (Riverside), AA Tronics, or Rocky Mtn A/V.

 

I'm not sure how big. Not huge, but larger than any TV...that's for sure. I know one thing, it will be awesome to read these words on an Edwards IMAX screen:

To reply to some comments on the last page. I will be comeing down under the guise of visiting my sister and brother in law. My bro-in-law said he would get the tickets if I let him know when to get them so I'll keep checking back. That would be sweet if you all could arrange a viewing of the other five, and I would love to attend if possible. I'm pretty excited to actually get to see the film with some other fans of Star Wars. I've never met any actual star wars fans before, so I'll keep checking back in here to see what all is going down.

I am going to buy Republic Commando on March 1st. Anyone eles gonna buy this? It is being released on PC and Xbox. This looks like one of the best Star Wars games ever.

Well if you have not played the new game yet got it on the 1st and was up till 4 am playing it i love this game it rocks a must play maybe i can bring it down to c3 for some multi player action or maybe we can get to gether one of these nights and do some battles

 

I just got it this morning. It looks sweet, I know it will be one of the best SW games ever. I did decide to get it on PC though, for the multiplayer option of the internet.

Wow, we're so close. Remember Cmdr when we walked out of AOTC and said, "another three years?" And now, we're about 5 weeks away. That's so close it's incredible!

They were painting Star Wars pictures on the inside glass at Edwards earlier today. Its getting closer...

 

I'm buzzing already....oh man. Our display goes up in only little over a week!
