Bah. MS beat me to the punch.

 

WOW.. a whole year has passed!

Was it midnight tonight a year ago, or midnight tomorrow night? Tonight methinks.

So we were dressing up/lining up about now.

I was thinking..gees I don't really know these people well enough to be hanging out with them for 7 hours or so.

And so the last year of our lives began, starting with that movie and bringing us all together more than we have before.

So here's to ROTS premiere anniversary night. To battling lightsabres and breakin them, to nerd signs, to theme music, to Jar Jar hats, to matrix cross-overs, to Wookie pelts and amazing Jedi costumes.

I don't have to say I'm more than glad I was there and that that night began a great year of my life where I found like-minded friends I actually wanted to spend time with.

We should so watch ROTS tonight.

Nope, "You were my Brother!" still gives me goosebumps. Wow. As does the Tatooine sunset at the end.

 

So say we all.

 

Ah, Uncle George ripped my heart out twice that night. I was lucky enough to see it at 6 pm at the Garden City Courier Mail Premier, then again at midnight at Balmoral.

And I still can't help thinking "Obi-Wan, you bastard" as he walks away from Anakin.

Silly question:
The music that plays during the opening scene (Anakin and Obi-Wan weaving through the ships)... is it available anywhere online? I recall that it isn't on the soundtrack...

The one with the "military mission" type drumwork.

 

Those drums were awesome. But good luck in finding an isolated track.

 

Not to my knowledge, Goobs, and believe me, I'm distraught about that fact.

 

They had a different version on the s'track....it rocked, but it wasnt the same
