    aayla secura is dead

No offense to ROF (which I love) or Tom (who I love in a non gay way), but the movie was sufficient enough to show the death of Aayla. Any one who says different has been in denial.

No offense taken. I was glad to be the guy to put the nail in her coffin, though. Too many people had theories as to how she could have survived... just ain't happenin'!

Poor Aayla. That last picture of her looks exceptionally creepy. That look on her face is going to haunt me all day.

I would think their current mission would be put on the back burner, thats for sure

Sweet Mary mother of Jesus, that is really haunting and creepy.
Its a shot of all that makes me feel emotional about the Order 66 sequence.

    Good job Tom.

    Quite a depressing sight. :(

I have read some of this thread and there is a lot to read so maybe I have missed it, but does anyone know just how long this comic is going to last?

i read somewhere (i think one page back) that it will do until the 13th..which makes it 169 strips long

    "aayla no!" indeed!

I hope the padawans' deaths are as glorious if not more glorious than Aayla's death.

Edit: If they don't die, I guess we have our major players for series 2 then.

my guess is, the padawan's will survive the next 5 stips...so its safe to say they are the major players of season 2.

Yea... I kept her death pretty cut and dry. She was pretty much deep fried after the blast from the Walker's Cannon.

Aayla, I was asked to show her dead. I toned it down from what I had originally intended on doing. I wanted to imply the blasters had cut her in half, but even I thought that would be too much... so I just did what I did. I drew it and got shivers. I creeped myself out, really! I think Lucasfilm wanted to make sure there was zero confusion in whether or not she made it...

    ... she didn't.

seeing her back flesh all ripped open, with blood all over her was horrible.

but what was worse was seeing that look on her face. utter betrayal, utter shock.

poor bairriss....her body isnt even around in tact.

No way for non Hyperspace people to view ROF.

Re-posting it is a violation of Hyperspace TOS.

I find it pretty funny there are threads insisting she's not dead...

... they obviously aren't Hyperspace members or they're in denial. :)

good end to the strip....everyone's favorite saying.

Anyone translate the text in the background?

And I know that the text has appeared in a few past strips. Which numbers were they and what did they say (I remember one being about Lucas on the OC, but I don't remember the exact phrasing).

    Thanks

I'm glad that RoF cemented Aayla's death. It was never in doubt for me...but it's nice to see the "look of death" in her eyes. The saddest death was Barriss...she got "offee'd" in a brutal way. Deep fried is right.

I hope at least one of he padawans make it out of the sequel alive and in hiding. Probably not if Yoda is to be believed in Episode VI.

Very well drawn, TH! The strip was the one constant that made HS a worthy daily event for me.

Awesome. That was definitely my favorite webstrip, it kept me going waiting for ROTS. Well done! =D=

Poor, Aayla. I absolutely loved that drawing... so heartbreaking. Sad they all had to go out like punks, as Sam Jackson would say. :(
