Vote and have at it...
good god no.
This where the fun begins.
awww, was wondering when SSS would start another Maul thread
darth maul was revived?
I've gone for YES, but really I would prefer a "possibly" option.
is this referring to the famous cliegg lars is darth maul theory?
No. Freaking. Way. It was bad enough resurrecting him in TCW.
Wanted it cut and dry G-F.
This was my initial reaction after the announcement.
If he doesn't die in S5 of TCW it will only fuel the speculation.
Alternative theory: Maul sleeps with Talzin or Ventress, Luke fights their offspring
Pretty sure Obi-Wan is gonna kill Maul 'again' before the end of this CW season...so he won't be around for EP7.
However...I wouldn't be surprised to see a wizened Ahsoka make an appearance...if she survives The Clone Wars.
She is a very Disneyesque character, so I imagine she'll be around for a while.
George Lucas demanded they bring Maul back, and start a rogue Sith order, in the Clone Wars. And yeah, he came back.
I love Darth Maul but I would prefer someone original.
None of you are giving objective responses.
Yes - hence why Episode VII is tentatively subtitled "Luke and Maul Go to White Castle."
Young Anakin's voice: "I think he was. Why else would they bring him back? It wasn't to free you slaves."
Maul doesn't deserve Kyle Katarns wrath. (It's clear the movie will be focused on him.)
Darth Maul served his purpose in TPM. He should of stayed dead. Him staying alive or being brought back for new movies is absurd and goes against everything that has been established. (Which in reality, that never stops them from changing it.) There can't be two if Maul lives. And Sidious doesn't need him, and Vader would not let him live. He would find him and make sure he was dead, to ensure no one could challenge him. If Sidious really wanted him around he would have just cloned him. Which he has not. He is weak and being brought back from the dead just reminds Sidious of that faluire. That is why he can not be in the new movies, because he would never make it to ANH.
Well I'm just pointing out that the OP poll is asking "WAS...?" not "DO YOU WANT...?"
A perfectly good villain wasted then thrown away in TPM, too bad too. Haven't watched Clone Wars but know of his resurrection and I hope to god no.
Yeah in Clone Wars. He's more accurately called Darth Maulbot now.
I hope not Darth Maul, but what about Darth Plagueis, could he be the only Sith that never died?
*Mitt Romney voice*
Is that where the green lightsabers come from?
Maul, no. That was on a whim. Mother Talzin and the Nightsisters, however ...
