Saga Rewrite the saga

There is a "Rewrite the PT" and "Rewrite the OT" thread but not one like this. Although I love the saga it might be fun to see what others would do if they were in charge. Please be respectful.

 

First change. Vader would not be Luke's father. If you continue a story I think it needs to remain cogent with what came before and...that 'twist' doesn't...doesn't work for me.

 

Make Palpatine an ancient being who never had a master. Palpatine should be the personification of evil.

 

Episode I -
- Replace Jar Jar with a character like Nym from Starfighter. Similar to the original concepts for Han Solo.
- Make Anakin 12 years old again. Makes the future romance more believable.
- Demonstrate Sidious' hold over the Trade Federation. Force choking incompetent Neimoidians and such.
- Have Count Dooku make an appearance. Perhaps a scene with Qui-Gon discussing his disdain for the bureacracy of the Senate and the Jedi.
Episode II -
- Have more scenes involving Padme's family and her struggle to prevent the war. It humanizes her character more.
- Rewrite some of the romantic dialogue to be funny. Humor is a big part of romance.
- Have the clones come from multiple sources.
Episode III -
- I would have it spread out over a longer period of time. We don't often see "Three months later" type captions in SW but it could be done. It would make a few things more interesting and believable: The fall of Anakin, the crumbling of the CIS and Padme's pregnancy.
- Padme would not die except perhaps in an epilogue of some kind. It would make a lot of things less confusing and it would just be better for her character. (Unless of course you take my first suggestion for Episode VI into account then I guess it wouldn't matter much)
Episode IV -
- Pretty much fine the way it is. I would just add more scenes with Luke and his friends on Tatooine. Again, for humanizing sake.
Episode V -
- Make the time frame of the movie a little clearer. We don't know how long Luke was on Dagobah compared to the length of time Han and Leia were stranded aboard the Falcon.
Episode VI -
- Don't make Leia Luke's sister.
- Replace Endor with Kashyyyk,
- No second Death Star. Final battle to take Coruscant.

The Republic has been at war for years. This war is a civil war being fought between humanoids and non-humanoids. The Jedi, the one integrated organization in the Republic, continually strive for peace and understanding between the sides. Finally after years of conflict that has brought both sides to the brink of extinction, moderate leaders from both sides agree to a secret peace conference in the Outer Rim. Knowing this could be the last chance for peace, the Jedi dispatch two Jedi Knights, (Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan) to provide protection for the meeting which is taking place on the planet of Naboo. The meeting is being productive when it is suddenly ambushed and the Jedi's narrowly escape with the delegates through an steroid field hotly pursued by fighters from both sides, they crash land on the nearest planet, a remote system by the name of Tatooine. The Humanoids and Non-Humanoids follow them to the surface but when seeing each other, engage in a massive battle upon arrival allowing the Jedi and Delegates to escape to the outskirts of Mos Eisley. 





While looking for a transport of world, Qui-Gon stumbles upon a poor woman and her son. The son appears to be half-humanoid and half non-humanoid in appearance. The boy of about twelve years old, offers to obtain a transport if Qui-Gon takes his mom and him with him. Being so desperate, Qui-Gon agrees, the boy then proceeds to challenge a local merchant, Sebulba to a game of Samyak, the boy (Anakin) makes a deal with the merchant, if Anakin defeats Sebulba, Sebulba will give Anakin and his friends one of his old freighters, if Sebulba wins, Anakin will serve him for seven years as an indentured servant. Qui-Gon is joined by Obi-Wan brining news that the battle is escalating nearer to the outskirts. Samyak, is a basically a game of blind-folded archery where the contestant has to throw a knife up to 90ft into a two-meter target. Anakin becomes the first person ever to defeat Sebulba, instead of just taking the freighter, Anakin challenges Sebulba again, if Sebulba wins this time, Anakin will serve an 8 year of indentured service but, if Anakin wins again, Sebulba must release from his service, everyone who has ever lost to him in the game. ( Sebulba had been using this game as a way of turning the poor natives who wanted to see the galaxy into slaves.) Surprisingly, Anakin wins again to great cheers, freeing all of Sebulba's "servants."After this event, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan see that the boy must be force-sensitive and decide to train him as a Jedi. The four (Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Anakin and his mother Shmi), return to the delegates and bring them to the transport deck. While leaving the planet, fighting suddenly erupts near the ship as the delegates board it. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gonn protect the convoy from both sides as they board. Anakin trips over a rock and Shmi goes back into the crossfire to get him, disobeying the Jedi's orders for her to continue onto the ship. Shmi is hit with a stary blaster shot and is seriously wounded. Obi-Wan retrieves Shmi and a shell-shocked Anakin and return with Qui-Gon to the ship as it takes off under heavy fire. (Both sides now know the ship contains the delegates).


 Once the freighter, Which is piloted by Han Solo Sr., and two droids C-3PO and R2D2, is thrust into a huge space battle between the humanoid and non-humanoids navies who were called in to back up their troops on the ground. Both sides are inflicting immense casualties. Anakin, who had never seen fighting between humanoids and non-humanoids, sees the risk to the freighter and the widespread killing, does a wild thing. He tells R2-D2 to stop the ship and walks to the comm room to begin communicating with both sides via commlink. Both Commanders thinking it is one of their own,( because Anakin can speak both native languages). Listen as Anakin tells them the coordinates of the ship. (Han Solo Sr. Is trying to the get the ship to start from what he think is a malfunction during this time, this is really R2 holding the ship.)Both high commanders flagships report to the coordinates do to the contents of Anakin's message. With the Main communication systems on both flagships, which are used to communicate to all ships in the battle, in range. Anakin hacks into the main computers of the flagships and sends a message out via his commlink, to every ship in the battle. He sends out the message (with proper command sequence,) "Cease Fire and stand down". Surprised but hearing it in their own language, (Anakin sent the message in both) The ships obey, bringing the battle to a complete halt. The Commander seeing everything stopped order their troops to start attacking again, they tentatively begin when the message is heard again, this time with a twist Anakin says it again only this time with a primitive Jedi mind trick. Shocking, because it has never been formally taught to him. The Fighting halts again, this time the Commander's and their staff, (the only ones not fooled) and are quite angry, and confused, board the freighter. The Commanders recognize the delegates and are about to eliminate both them and out-numbered Jedi, when Anakin appears from the comm room. Both sides are stunned to see the lag-humanoid half non-humanoid from in front of them. Anakin continues to explain to both sides, how similar both of them are in what the respect and value and how they are driving themselves to extinction, Anakin says his being half and half proves coexistence is possible and that today can be the first day of true change. The combatants are moved, but not fully convinced and are about to fire (unwillingly on Anakin too). When Anakin asks Qui-Gon for his lightsaber, un sure but trusting, Qui-Gon gives it to him, Anakin proceed to cut off his left hand, which in Humanoid culture is done before burying a corpse. And His Right Hand, which means the same in Non-Humanoid culture. Anakin explains to them that he is dead to both sides of himself and is one species- less being. He says if they die today fighting each other they are dead with no more purpose but to further destroy the Republic but, if they die to their bigotry, mistrust and fear their legacies will live forever in a strong and free Republic. The Commanders are moved further but say their only chance for "freedom" from the other species. They order their aides and guards to shoot but, instead of shooting the delegates and the Jedi, they turn their weapons on the commanders saying that coexistence was "worth a try" for their families's future. Anakin and the aides then relay the message to all the ships who agree to return to their home systems and convince their "compatriots" that both species can live as one. Anakin says he will visit both places in the future to aid in this goal. Now Anakin who halted a full-flung battle, the Jedi, and the Delegates being the return to Coruscant the home of the Jedi and a neutral zone between the two sides.


As they begin home and the delegates, as well as Padme the acting secretary/attendant (about 16 years old) for the Humanoid delegation converse with Anakin. Obi Wan and Qui-Gonn have both sensed something is wrong since the boarding party has left the ship, they feel watched and observed by the Dark Side of the Force. When the party is sleeping, both Jedi feel a strong disturbance in the Force they return to see all of the delegates massacred except Padme, and dark presence near Anakin. They enter his quarters to see a dark figure about to strike down the sleeping child while he lies. The Jedi engage the stranger and duel hi through the ship into the dark engine room. Until the Dark warrior, whos face is hidden, is knocked over the railings to the motors, he holds on, unarmed to edge of the platform. Qui-Gon against the warnings from Obi-Wan insist that the assailant must be tried in democratic court for his crimes not thrown to a horrible death in the engines below "no one deserves that". As Qui-Gon approaches on his guard, to arrest the exposed attacker and begins to hall him back on the platform, the dark one pulls another Lightsaber from his cloak, stabs Qui-Gon in the knee, and pushes him into the engines in the matter of a second. A devastated Orbi-Wan charges the killer and engages him on the edge of the engines, they manage to disarm each other and while grappling hand to hand, approach the edge. The dark-clad warrior grabs Obi-Wan and begins to pull the both of them over when he is shot two -times in the back and falls back onto the platform. Obi-Wan scrambles up to see that Padme had been following the skirmish and had shot his adversary with a blaster. Obi-Wan seeing his master pushed into the engines by the man laying dying before him, the one Qui-Gonn had tried to save, is tempted by the Dark Side, to push the wretch's expiring body over the edge. The man goads him to give in to his hate and do it but Obi-Wan thinking of his training, tells him that the Jedi are superior to such actions and allows the man to die on the platform. As he he dies the strange being chuckles " Such a weakness in you Jedi, it will be your undoing. The time for weakness is over, the Sith have returned." And then the Sith breathes no more. Obi-Wan opens the hood of his cloak to reveal him as on of the aides who had boarded earlier- the only aide who had protested against Anakin's pleas for peace. (He had hid when the shooting started).

 A weeping Obi-Wan accompanied by Padme, return to the ship, R2-2 and C23Po who have been piloting the ship report that they are en route to Couruscant. Obi-Wan and Padme, find the only survivors, Han Solo Sr, and Anakin nursing and protecting a still unconscious Shmi. Anakin asks where Qui-Gonn is and if the bad man is gone. Obi-Wan explains what happened, Anakin claims it is his fault. If he hadn't stopped the ship, and allowed the Commanders to board the Sith would never have found them and that he had made the mission a failure. Obi-Wan comforts him stating that they never had a chance to escape anyway because Sebulba had purposely given them a freighter missing a hyperdrive, (Which they replaced with one from the fleet) and that, Anakin's actions were the only reason anyone had survived. (The following would be a possible concluding Dialogue)

Obi Wan: So you see Anakin, you have brought freedom and hope to so many new beings… Sebulba's servants and possible, every citizen in the Republic."

Anakin: But- but Qui-Gon and the delegates...
( Obi-Wan hesitates)

Obi-Wan: " Do you remember what you said to the Commanders about how their legacies could still live on even when they died? And how dying for good cause gives new life to others? That is what Qui-Gon knew when he confronted the Sith and the Delegates when they agreed to this meting. This is what we must continually to re-learn everyday. Anakin a true Jedi cannot die, when he risk his life in the name of peace, justice and freedom, even if his physical body perishes, his soul lives on in the Force and in every person and cause for which he has fought. Last night, Qui-Gon asked me, to train you as a Jedi Knight. It is a hard life, full of hardships, heartbreaks, and journeys the ending of which, you may never see. However, with those challenges come the belief that every time you put your life or livelihood on the line for from someone's freedom, you are reborn in their new life. So, Anakin Skywalker will you be my Jedi Apprentice?

Anakin: "I-I, (looks at his mother) I will, I want to live forever."

(Embrace)

(Obi-Wan walks over to the window)

Obi-Wan: Starting today, young padawan, you have entered a dangerous life and a dangerous time, we all have, we have started a great wheel of probability, filled with longstanding deposits of fear, mistrust, and misunderstanding rooted so deep in some, it is part of their very being, where this wheel will land no one knows."



C-3PO: (One loudspeaker) "Master Kenobi, we are now nearing the Coruscant system, R-2 D-2 says an organic life from is needed to guide the vessel through the atmosphere."

Anakin and Obi-Wan, along with Padme and Han Sr. both of whom had been quietly observing from the back of the room, return to the bridge. Han Sr. takes the controls and the camera zooms out as the ship enters the atmosphere.

Attack of the Clones


Eight years have passed since the events of the Phantom Menace. Anakin, along with an invigorated Jedi order, has brought the fighting between humanoid and non-humanoids to a new lower level. Fighting now only reaches near the main home worlds of both sides. Anakin along with his master Obi-Wan has become something of a celebrity and is celebrated by both sides as a "savior" to the republic. Being he is still so young, the Jedi are concerned at the extreme influence the Padawan prodigy wields but see no other path for the growing peace to continue other than to keep Anakin in his vocal role. Anakin, who is about to attempt the trials to become a Jedi Knight is still very humble and seeks the approval of his master and the Jedi council like any apprentice. This week, Anakin will make his visit to the home worlds of all the species involved in the war to try and draw the conflict down further. Padme, who is a now a Galactic senator, will accompany him to the alien home worlds as a further sign of peace. Though many of those in the republic joyfully await the famous Anakin Skywalker's visit there are some who fearing that the other side plans to betray them, plot to remove Anakin from the public spotlight. While en route to the first planet, Mon Calamari Anakin confides in Padme the intense pressure he feels being "the hope of the galaxy" based solely on his genetics and not experience. On Mon Calamari, There is an intense argument going on between the ruling council and the military, the civilian rulers argue to welcome Anakin as a sign of goodwill. The military feel he is part of a trap to lower their guard and that Anakin is a threat to their way of life. After being overruled, in the final vote the secret police decide to take unilateral action. 


As Anakin and Padme are landing on the planet to a thong of admirers Anakin sees something wrong with the gangplank he runs Padme and their guard back into the ship as the plank explodes in front of them. The crowd is thrown into frenzy when Anakin sees someone trying to slip away; he calls attention to this individual. Who halts in fear, exposed as the man who had just tried to assassinate the Jedi. The crowd turns angry and are about to lynch the assassin when Anakin halts them, he invites the man to him and- publicly forgives him, telling him that the days of revenge and fear are over and that if the man ends his grudge against humanoids, he will not be charged with a crime. The crowd cheers as the man repents and Anakin's legend grows even further. Anakin is carried to the government building on the shoulders of the citizen where he meets the ruling council and gives a very well received speech. After the speech, Anakin in the frenzy tries to find Padme who had accompanied him to the building he looks around but fins her nowhere. He asks everyone who had been in the proximity but no one knew where Padme was. Anakin convenes with the ruling council to discuss the Emergency. They are about to issue an all-points bulletin to the public when a message is received. Ruwee Newberry, Grand Elector of the Republic Is coming on a diplomatic and goodwill visit Mon Calamari, the highest ever humanoid official ever to visit a non-humanoid home world in hundreds of years. Seeing the potential conflict if Padme's disappearance is made public Anakin and the council reluctantly decide that Anakin, R-2-D-2 (who had accompanied them on the trip) and two Mon-Calamari special investigators. Gual Niathan and Saa Ak'kar. Back on Couruscant, Obi-Wan expresses his doubt to Yoda as to how much he can really teach Anakin, and that if Anakin has surpassed him in understanding of the Force. Yoda reminds him that, if it weren't for the war, Anakin would be the same-20 year old as Obi Wan was at that age. After walking out of the meeting Obi-Wan is hailed by Jedi Temple security, four of the guards who were to accompany Anakin to Mon Calamari are found bound in the bottom of the Temple. Further investigation reveals that two impostors boarded the ship in their place. After not being able to contact Anakin, Obi-Wan decides to set out after him with a team of security to warn him of the impostors.

Back on Mon Calamari, Anakin, R2-D2 and the two investigators are finding a relatively easy trail leading to the senator. Besides a little token resistance the group easily follow the trail to the private home of the President. They enter an unlocked door and go up the turbo lift to the first floor. When they walk in they see Padme sitting across the room alone. Suddenly they are ambushed, and surrounded by the secret police, they fire and kills the two Mon-Calamari who had accompanied Anakin. Angered Anakin asks if they head of the secret police, Mial Akbar. Akbar puts his weapon down and tells Anakin that Anakin, will kill him, framing the Jedi in killing a high-profile out of revenge and by doing it in the house of the president will implicate the civilian government in the scandal and allow the secret police to re-take control of the non-humanoid governments and re-start the war. Anakin though tempted by the dark side, after seeing two of his friends gunned down before him but refuses to kill Akbar. Getting frustrated, Akbar then decides he will kill Anakin and Padme who he thinks will harm the peace movement just as much. As he and his men raise their blasters, Obi-Wan storms in with the Jedi temple security forces and engages the secret police. After a few minutes of fighting the Jedi prevail, but to their dismay see that Akbar has slipped away with Padme, they race outside to see him board a transport to the spaceport on the planet. 


 Anakin and Obi-Wan race to the space port in the president's private transport and reach the space port just as Akbar leaves the atmosphere in the vessel that Anakin and Padme brought to the planet (the four impostor guards had access to start and fly the ship). Obi- Wan pursue them in the president's private ship. They chase Akbar, who is a very skilled pilot through the stars and attempt to find out his destination. Eventually they do discover where the ship is headed. Akbar is piloting the ship straight into a huge star that is in supernova. As a desperate Anakin, increases speed to overtake Akbar a new humanoid ship leaves Hyperspace, between the two vessels. The new ship fires and disables the president's ship stranding the Jedi as it is boarded; a cloaked figure and 24 humanoid soldiers board the ship. There is a fight and when the smokes clear, all that remain are the cloaked figure, which hasn't moved the Two Jedi, Obi-Wan is a wounded, and 15 soldiers. Everyone looks out the window to see Akbar's ship enter the supernova and explode. Fearing that Padme is lost, Anakin loses control. He dismembers all 15 soldiers even when they are disarmed, and furiously engages the cloaked figure that draws a Lightsaber. Anakin fights him back to the back of the ship. The cloaked figure jumps in an escape pod and escapes. Still livid, Anakin creates a force storm in the supernova to try to somehow bring the ship. He is close to causing a bigger explosion when Obi-Wan tells him to stop. Anakin breaks down crying on the floor. After a few moments they are hailed on the communication device of the ship. C-3PO who had accompanied Obi-Wan, tells both Jedi's that R2-D2 is asking for the ships present location. Confused, because he thought that the Astromech was still on-board C-3PO delivers shocking news. R2-D2, and Padme had somehow escaped onto an escape pod before the explosion and were falling to the planet below, a remote system called Hoth. Anakin is elated and the Jedi hurry down to the surface to find the pod. After R2 tells C-3PO where they had landed, the second party discovers the pod. There are three in the pod Padme, is alive and unharmed, R2-D2, and to Anakin's surprise Gian Akbar the Mon Calamari assassin he had spared on the planet and the son of the secret police chief. Akbar explains that when Anakin spared him he did have a true change of heart. When he heard his father was escaping the planet with Padme and where he was going he made sure he was one of the staff on the ship. When the ship neared the supernova he subdued the rest of the crew rescued Padme, and with R2s help, who had slipped out of the battle at the President's house and also boarded the ship, escaped in the escape pod right before entry. After Obi-Wan and Gian set up camp, Anakin and Padme escape to the snow-rigged hills. Anakin explained to Padme what he did when he thought she was dead. Padme is worried but also glad he felt so strongly about her. They both admit that they couldn't live without each other and decide to get married. 



They return to see Master Yoda has arrived in a Jedi transport to transport everyone home. During the night, a sleepless Obi-Wan seeks the advice of the Jedi master. He was frightened to see what Anakin became when he thought he had lost Padme and if he had not trained him properly in the force. Yoda, who himself is concerned, that while he has trained Anakin well, shown by the his actions on Mon Calamari, Obi-Wan must work further to separate Anakin from Padme and everyone else, including himself. He reminds Obi-Wan how close he was to the dark side when Qui-Gon died and that the difference between resisting and giving in to passion of the Dark Side is very little. A few hours later, an equally sleepless Anakin goes to see Yoda. He shares the same story as Obi-Wan from his point of view and is too worried by his step to the dark side. Yoda warns him that to avoid the Dark Side he must separate himself from everything he fears to lose. "Fear leads to Anger, Anger leads to Hate, Hate leads to the Dark Side of the Force." Anakin thanks him, but still feels torn. The ship drops off Gian on Mon Calamari, the group receives another cheering reception and hear the news that Elector Newberry is to arrive the next day and that no one ever discovered what had occurred. After saying goodbyes the Jedi, droids, and Padme return to Coruscant and recaps the events to the Jedi Council. The Council informs Obi-Wan and Anakin that the meeting between Newberry and the Non-Humanoid meeting went very well. The meeting went so well in fact that, do to the successful operation on Mon Calamari that the sides reached a pace accord to immediately begin drawing down forces on both sides, unifying the Republic and ending the war. As the council disperses the cloaked figure looks down unto to the Jedi Temple, he says into a commlink " It has come to this, activate plan z, the final decision." Anakin successfully lobbies the senate to escort Padme on her vacation to her home planet of Naboo. On the system, the two are married with C-3PO and R2-D2 as witnesses. The camera zooms out of the small wedding.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith


It has been one year since the events of Attack of the Clones. The Peace treaty reached by now Chancellor Newberry is in full effect and weaponry is being drawn down on both sides. Other the past year, Anakin's legend has grown ever further, having talked down yet more battles and shown mercy and understudying to combatants. He is also now a Jedi Knight. We open with Anakin and Padme on their way to the last remaining weapons stronghold on the planet of Kashyyyk. On the way, Padme reveals she is to have a baby, news that is a joy to Anakin. Upon arrival, Anakin is again greeted to great cheers as he helps de-armament crews sent from the Republic to clear the planet. During his second night on the planet, Anakin has a dream he sees Padme dying painfully at his hand and wakes up in a sweat. After taking a short walk to calm himself, he returns to his room but see's that he has received a hologram message. Obi-Wan tells Anakin in the hologram to return to Coursucant as something has happened. Sensing the urgency, Anakin wakes Padme and departs the planet during the night. Upon arrival at Coursucant he meets with Obi-Wan who shares the tidings. While, Anakin was away, his mother, Shmi who had been recovering in the Senate Hospital from the blaster wound, suffered a sudden relapse and had died. A stunned Anakin is deeply saddened; he feels it is his fault that his mother had been shot in the first place, and that he was not with her when she had the relapse. Padme and Obi-Wan attempt to comfort the young Jedi but Anakin's depression only grows, he sees himself responsible for Qui-Gonn's death, almost losing Padme, and now his mother dying, he remarks that he is considered the most powerful being in the galaxy but cannot save anyone he loves from the fates he dooms them to. With that, he disappears out of the Temple.


For days, Anakin is nowhere to be found. Jedi scourge through the Coruscant underworld but he is still not found. Finally Obi-Wan finds his former apprentice in a bad state and abandoned bar severely drunk. When Obi-Wan attempts to approach him Anakin reacts angrily tell him to go away and that the weight on his shoulders had crushed him. Anakin then storms out and disappears again. Unfortunately, a patron in the bar had filmed the episode, and his clip quickly spread on Holonet throughout the Galaxy. There is some nervous reaction to the news, and many are shocked seeing Anakin this way. As the hard-fought for peace is called into question, the Jedi Council convene in an emergency meeting. Many of the council express concerns of how the Republic's new unity is dependent on only one, unstable being and that Anakin only controls the fate of the galaxy.

Another week goes by with Anakin shown a few more times on Holonet in a few more less than flattering moments. Anakin is wandering around a back alley after losing a card game; when he runs into, out of all people Chancellor Newberry. The Chancellor reminds Anakin of all that he has done and that the Jedi are fortunate to have someone like him. The Chancellor tells Anakin that he remembers another Jedi going though his dilemma and that he went to a Force Mystic on the remote moon of Endor and that this mystic, helped this Jedi to never lose anyone he loved again. Seeing this as a way to save Padme and improve his condition Anakin agrees to see this mystic. Anakin recruits a transport and lands on the planet Endor alone, after some searching, he finally finds a cave in which he finds a small, veiled figure. Seeing that he is the mystic, Anakin explains his story. The mystic explains to Anakin that he should be at peace. He reminds Anakin of everything he has done for people who didn't even deserve it. Anakin tells him how the Jedi seem to mistrust him do to his attachments, the mystic tells him that those attachments are what make him strong, his ability to love and understand make him the most powerful of Jedi. Anakin, feeling much better about him after finally meeting someone who did not feel attachment was bad, relays his fears about Padme. The mystic says Anakin is too powerful to lose Padme unless he sacrifices his strength. He tells Anakin he must remember that the Galaxy owed him so much and that he should stop pretending to be weak. He says that will only being strong and being the greatest Jedi he can be never take Padme taken from him. Anakin, feeling the wisdom in the mystic asks when he can see him again and what he should do, the Mystic says they will meet often and that Anakin should return to being a strong Jedi, but appreciate his attachment and emotion and that he should be respected more by the Jedi. Anakin departs for Coruscant.


Upon arrival Anakin returns his normal life to the relief of the Jedi and Republic. He separates a brewing conflict between two factions, trying to stir up trouble in the event napkin never returned. Everyone is relived, except, Obi-Wan beneath his exterior the Jedi notices that his Apprentice has changed, while still being as adherent to the Force and the Jedi way, Anakin's humility has been replaced by a certain arrogance, Anakin no longer listens to his council or adheres strictly to the rules Obi-Wan taught him. He continues to give great speeches but instead of hailing the Jedi and the shared unity of the species, he now states openly how he has ended the war himself. Obi-Wan shares his feelings with the Jedi Council, who now share his concerns. With Anakin away on a diplomatic event, The Council plans to confront him upon his arrival at a state dinner that the Chancellor had prepared in his honor.


Anakin arrives home, though he does not share this, he has since had more dreams about Padme's fate and hat met several more times with the mystic on Endor. His dreams now show Anakin as a full non-humanoid striking Padme down. He beings to wonder if half of him is "evil" and is somehow responsible for his failures. The Jedi meet Anakin on the landing platform when a messenger joins them, he tells Anakin that he is wanted on his home planet of Tatooine. Anakin turns around and leaves with his diplomatic crew immediately against the orders of Yoda and the council. The crew includes Padme, Gial Akbar, Gual and Saa the two Mon Calamari investigators, Han Solo Sr. and four other security guards, two humans and two wookies. En route, Anakin receives a communication that Tatooine is conducting a memorial service for his mother and is the reason for sending for him. Anakin is comforted by the gesture and makes plans for arrival.


As Anakin's ship soars into the atmosphere he sees another cheering crowd eating for him below. Then, suddenly a disaster starts; a dozen Mon Calamari combat transport ships leave the atmosphere and start to bombard the city below. Anakin witnesses as Most of all of Mos Eisley is destroyed by what appear to be a non-humanoid surprise attack. When Anakin reaches the surface he sees his former life and friends all destroyed beneath him, he sees that nay humanoids are dead however as the weapons used must only affect them. Anakin is deeply angered by this apparent double-cross; Padme calms him down reminding Anakin to trust the non-humanoids as a whole as she does. Anakin leaves the group to go look at his childhood home, which is in ruins. When he returns he with Han Sr. and two human guards, he sees that the rest of the group has disappeared somewhere into the smoke. Anakin gives pursuit. Padme and the group had been attacked by a small band of non-humanoids but had successfully repelled the strike but cause them to move position. Later, while walking through the rubble Padme recognizes she knows well and rushes to greet him.


Anakin meanwhile continues looking for the group through the smoke after about an hour of searching he approaches the Mos Eisley spaceport. They’re lying on a stone tablet in the middle of the smoke, lays the expired body of Padme Amidala. Gian, Saa, and Gual are nowhere to be found. Anakin lets out such a bellow it can be heard though the force, he sees that Padme has been shot with a Mon Calamari, believing that his friends had betrayed him and killed his wife, Anakin loses control and feels the Dark Side of the force surge through him. Behind him appearing through the smoke, was non-other than the Force Mystic. Anakin turns and starts crying to the Mystic how he deserved this and that everything connected to Anakin Skywalker was now gone. The Mystic then asks him where this has all come from, he reminds him that Shmi was wounded by a non-humanoid blaster, how a non-humanoid almost piloted Padme into a star, how they had destroyed his home world and now, how ones that he had even considered friends had murdered his unarmed wife. He reminds Anakin of all the times he has fought for peace and understanding for the Non-Humanoids and everyone he helped them, one of them only stabbed him the back. He states that half of him was "evil" and the only way the Republic would find peace is eradicating the non-humanoids once and for all. Just then, the Mon-Calamari ships return to the atmosphere. Anakin instinctively tries to restrain his emotions, the mystic tells him to let go and bring "justice". Anakin releases a huge Force Storm; one of the largest ever created and destroys most of the ships. Anakin destroys the ones that were able to land with his lightsaber. Anakin then continues to massacre hundreds of non-humanoids of the planet believing them part of the scheme. After all this, the mystic asks how Anakin feels he says felt "free" the mystic explains every non-humanoid is inherently "evil" and are the reasons for his failures, he says that the Jedi have been supporting and protecting this evil and only become suspicious of Anakin because they were jealous of his power and, feared that he would eventually uncover the "evil'' they were protecting. The mystic explains that all the Jedi, non-humanoids, and those who support them but be eliminated in order for true peace in the galaxy. The mystic says that only the Dark Side of the force is powerful enough for Anakin to achieve this. He reveals himself to be a Dark Lord of the sith and offers Anakin to become his apprentice. Anakin hesitates and accepts The Mystic names him "Darth Vader" and reveals his true identity for the first time.


Gian and Han Sr. two of the only ones who survived Anakin's attack. It is revealed that the day before she was killed, Padme had gone into labor and had given birth to two twins by a local doctor in the Mos Eisley Cantina. She had named them Luke and Leia. Gian and Han Sr. agree that they must get the newborns back to Coruscant for them to survive and to worn the Jedi of the events on the planet. As they near Coruscant, a Holonet message appears on screen. This message is being broadcasted live throughout the Republic. Darth Vader, formally Anakin, greets the Republic he states that the Non-Humanoids have betrayed the Republic and destroyed the planet of Tatooine he states that they, and all those who support them including the Jedi are a threat to the "new peace". That has been achieved he urges the masses to take up their arms and free the Republic from those oppressors. Almost immediately bedlam breaks loose. Mass mobs across the republic begin attacking Non-Humanoids, and their buildings, after the initial shock the Non-Humanoids begin to respond and beat back the masses. When, Darth Sidious, revealed as the Dark Lord of the sith who had been acting as the Force mystic of Endor. Launches Order 66. Suddenly, the ships and weapons of the Humanoids, who everyone had though had been destroyed with the Peace accord, ambush the Non-Humanoid home worlds. The Non-Humanoids, who did destroy all their weapons as part of the accord are exposed and annihilated. This phantom force, along with the angry mobs, the control of almost all the systems in the Republic within days. The Jedi, on Coruscant, and across the galaxy are attacked by angry citizens and purged. The Jedi Temple on Coruscant is overrun by angry citizens and a convoy of Humanoid fighters and destroyed, the Jedi, hesitant to attack the citizens, are all neutralized before nightfall. The Jedi Council sensing this disturbance in the force escapes to an underground safe house in the senate building. They think they are safe, when a figure enters it is Chancellor Newberry, he inquires into who the Jedi are, and when assured of their safety, draws a lightsaber and continues to slaughter the whole council, Yoda is the only survivor dueling the Chancellor who is revealed to be Darth Sidious up the elevator into the main Senate floor. During the fight it is reveled that Newberry, had been a former apprentice of Yoda who had been kicked out of the order for experimenting with the Dark Side. He had vowed to take his revenge and return in triumph to Coruscant, which has now, has. During the duel, Yoda receives a Force vision, which tells him he must survive, and retreat to the planet of Dagobah. Yoda flees the battle and with the help of Bail Organa, a senator still friendly with the Jedi escapes to a cloaked relief ship orbiting the planet.


Han Sr. and Gial Akbar reach Coruscant and inter to bring Luke and Leia to the Senate Medical facility but are ambushed by Sidious and troops upon arrival and captured they manage to escape with help from Organa but can not rescue the children. Obi-Wan, who also survived the attack, meets Yoda on the relief ship, along with Bail Organa, Han Sr, Gial, and Han's 14 year old son, Han Jr. Obi-Wan reveals that he plans on confronting his former apprentice now Darth Vader and stop him before the Republic is fully conquered. Han Sr. and Jr. Gial, Bail will attempt to rescue Luke and Leia from the medical facility, and Yoda will gather non-humanoid and humanoid leaders who oppose the new order and bring them to the ship. As they are about to leave a message comes on the view screen. It is Chancellor Newberry, addressing the Senate, he claims that the Jedi have not only supported the Non-Humanoids, but have made an attempt on his life, which has left him deformed. He declares himself Emperor of the New Order in the Galaxy, he says that the Non-Humanoids have been defeated and a new age of Humanoid Democracy and freedom has arrived. The Teams depart on their missions.


Gail, Han Sr. and Han Jr. pretend to be Imperial officers brining a prisoner, Akbar into the Coruscant prison, once onto the base, they double back and rescue the twins from he hospital. Han Sr. sacrifices himself to allow the ship, The Millennium Falcon, to escape before the Empire. Obi-Wan has tracked Vader's ship returning to Coruscant from Tatooine and see that he is currently above the fiery planet of Mustafar. Obi-Wan hails Vader's ship and tells him that he will meet him at the surface-alone. Jedi and sith land on the surface and confront each other. Obi-Wan tells Vader how he was the chosen one to defeat the sith not join them. Vader replies that he is the "Chosen One" to save the Galaxy, from the Jedi and Non-Humanoids are the true evil. They engage in a duel that brings them around the planet, Obi-Wan defeats Anakin and leaves him to die in the lava of the planet.

Obi-Wan returns to the Relief ship to find that Yoda has rescued 8 senators who oppose the new emperor, bit not one Jedi. Luke and Leia have been rescued. On board the ship, the Rebel Alliance to restore the Republic is formed with everyone joining except young Han, who storms out claiming "it is not his fight".


On Mustafar, the Emperor arrives, he is able to revive Anakin and return him Coruscant, and he undergoes a painful surgery to encase him into a fearsome black suit. During the surgery, the Emperor reveals to a Jedi he has captured, about his Cloning program. He reveals that the Mon Calamari's who appeared to invade Tatooine were really mindless clones of a single Mon Calamari and he had used them to bring Darth Vader to the Dark Side. He explains how has started cloning a humanoid to form a grand army of humanoid clones. He then kills the Jedi.

Yoda reveals he will go into exile in Dagobah. Bail brings Leia home to his home planet of Alderaan and raises her as his daughter. Obi-Wan brings Luke to be raised on Tatooine by his Aunt and Uncle. The Camera follows Obi-Wan leaving the complex over the desert in front of the double sun of Tatooine.

I always felt odd about how Palps had a Master. He never really seemed to be the person who would take **** from anyone (although I guess he didn't in the end).
