Ohio Rholynn's getting married...

Well it happened! I finally got the ring and did the deed. She said yes and I'm the happiest guy in the world.

The wedding isn't for about a year, but I'm still happy as can be.

I presume your groomsmen will be wearing Jedi robes and the bridesmaids will have the Leia hairdo?

 

I already tried to get her to wear an Padme style dress. That got shot down right away.

 

Leia's "ceremonial" dress from the end of ANH looks a lot like a plain white wedding dress, maybe you can get her to wear that instead... It doesn't look particularly Star Wars, and yet you might both be happy.

 

It's not really something I'm upset about or anything, just thought it would be cool if I could convince her to do it.

BTW, RandomMenace are you from the area, because if so you should join us at our meeting on Saturday.

 

Congrats dude! --- You know, she may not be into the whole costume idea at the actual wedding, but there is always the reception - I can just see the groom on top of the cake, lightsaber in one hand, and lovely bride's hand in the other. ^_^

I've almost got her talked into putting my Anakin and Padme Secret Ceremony figures on the groom's cake.
