I ate at the Rib Room on my visit last week and they

I've been there, but I don't really care for it too much...

I am what you would call a 'Foodie' in New Orleans lingo...

My favorite restaurants are Restaurant Cuvee and Peristyle (although the chef changed at Peristyle and they've gone down a bit).

My brother worked for Emeril Lagasse at Emeril's Restaurant as a chef some time back. He's now on the business end of the HRT business.

I'm taking my fiancee to Bayona for her birthday in April!

    :)

Id stay in Denver.. It gets way too hot here.. Plus you can't ski. And to keep on topic. I like houstons as well. They have some really good fish.

actually, if you make it down here, i'd avoid houston's...it's a chain.... food is good, overpriced and reproducible by many restaurants around the country. Dining in N.O. entirely depends on your budget....but you can get REALLY good deals at some REALLY GOOD restaurants at lunchtime. Eat local. for both a good local restaurant and for good fish, try JaquesImo's on oak st. it's a bit expensive, but not elite level. it's also has a "crazy" dining room.
