Riff-It Fridays - July 28 at 7 PM: The Matrix

Riff-It Fridays
In an effort to expand our types of activities this year, we're starting Riff-it Fridays. On the last Friday of each month we'll watch a movie with the official Rifftrax audio played on top. And just try and stop us from adding our own Riffing on top of that!

There won't be any official meeting business going on so feel free to attend or not month by month. We're not trying to jam events into every weekend, just wanting to see which activities our group likes best so we can expand on those.

So mark your calendar for Friday, January 27th at 7 pm at the Thornton house. Movie starts at 7:15. We will provide popcorn and sodas. Feel free to bring other drinks and candy to share or to hoard. We will vote ahead of time on which movie we should watch.

 

I like it. Very cool idea. Do you have a list of available titles that have an official Riff Track, or can it be any movie that is not to be taken seriously?

We talked about having a theme for each month's voting (comic book movies, Check Norris flicks, Oscar winners, etc) and have people vote which movie of 3 or 4 to watch/Rifftrax.

Success! The app synced great with the movie so we were able to laugh hysterically until someone needed an inhaler.
