Got to meet him many years ago.
A true gentleman.

 

I remember meeting him at CIII. He was chatting with his assistant and Mindy asked me if I decided what picture I wanted him to sign. My reply was that "I gotta go with the choke". He chuckled and autographed with exactly what I said. We talked and I shared how I will always remember his scene from when I first saw the scene and used to try and choke my family at the dinner table.

When I reached out to him last year for help with SWN, I mentioned that to him. He remember me and the fact that Mindy was pregnant with Xander when we met.

He was one of my favorite officers, so much in fact that we named our second cat Motti.

Godspeed Richard!

 

It's upsetting. Though I've never met him in person, I've chatted with him a few times through facebook. Such a nice guy, really humble. We'll all really miss him.

 

Sad news.

 

I'm sorry I will never have the pleasure. Peace to him and solace to his loved ones.
